Free 2 Play Challenge - Day 6

I'm closing in on one week of playing Splinterlands strictly as a free to play player and documenting my winnings, strategies, and growth in the game an on the Hive platform via this fresh alt account.

Today my daily quest was Water Quest, and I played until I completed it. I'm a little behind on other things, so I don't really have the time to do more today. That resulted in me playing down to about 91% DEC Capture rate.

For rewards, I got a Charlok Minotaur. I've struggled to use this card effectively on my main account, even though I kinda like it. The art is good, and while it's slow, it does seem like it should be a fair tank with Malric in some rulesets. We'll see how it does with my current limited card collection.

With this card, my card collection power increases to 40.

DEC is still a very slow grind as I bounce between Novice and Bronze 3. Here are my stats as of right now:

I think tomorrow will be a good time to talk a little bit about guilds, why you should join one if you're a new player, and some of the things I look for as a guild leader when bringing people in to a guild. All guilds are different, but there may be some things I mention that help you out.
