This is good, I guess?

I finally remembered to check if I got the first Chaos Legion pack airdrop card. Well, I got Doctors.

Are they really worth $88 apiece?

Does anybody collect these characters and want one?

Oh, the season ended. An hour gefore it wa s over I played five matches to reach Silver II level. I didn't play much at all this season.

Although, I admit it is fun to play with new Chaos Legion cards. IT addsa lot of variety and forces you into rethinking old strategies and devisin new ones.

I'd say hold onto them or rent them. They'll definitely be worthwhile to have long term. The anti-heal whilst being unable to take damage is always nice.

I've got even two gold foil Doctor blights + two regular ones! - Seems like, I was extremely lucky during this first airdrop what makes me feel a bit better regarding the amount of money invested for the vouchers and packs in the first pre-sale.

However, those new Chaos Legion cards are really "chaotic"! 😁
The number of combinations (including previous editions) seems endless to me.
And, while playing some ranked battles in just past season, I noticed that some more or less newer players are able to combine them in some crazy playing sets (very successful ones) that would never cross my mind if I didn't see them beating me just like that! 😂

Yes, the combinations have multiplied now. New abilities, more of them. It is chaotic. I wouldn't use the word better...

I think, implementing new features, generally speaking, should be a good thing, but if this would turn the game to be more and more gambling alike and less and less strategic and logical, I think I might turn (at least, when Splinterlands is in question) to be just a card collector to rent or sell the cards.

I feel with you and think the same. The third option is to sell unopened packs. They generally become more valuable with time.

I don't know if it will be the same with Chaos packs since there will be 10 times more of them ...

At the moment, I'm just waiting to see how they are going to implement the land and that stuff, and most likely after that, I'll make my decision.

OK. I didn't buy any land. I see it as an unnecessary complication of the game.
