Can Education Make You Successful?

Can education make you successful? or can someone be successful without education? A question a lot of folks have been asking and seeking answers for, I was once there so I know how it feels when asking questions like this.

A lot of people think education is the key to success, we see that in some exercise books, some school Motto while some people are successful in life and don't have a degree so what then is the true way to success.

Personal capital

This is something that is hard to learn, this is one of the attributes that is worth more than certificate, when I say personal capital I mean you approach towards being successful, there are lot of people who think that going to school and bag a certificate is a criteria for them to become successful no, going to school don't make you successful but give you enlightenment, we go to school to acquire knowledge and be enlightened so it is then left for us to choice whether to make use of the knowledge we acquire or not.

I have seen people who think that government is the reason why they are not successful even when they are graduate, well there is no place in the law that says government is owing any of its citizens work after school, so if you are done with school and they government don't provide employment Opportunities then you create one for yourself, I was listening to my mentor he told me if someone spends five years in school and another person spend five in learning a skill and after learning the skill it is expected from they person to earn a living from the skill and so is applicable to someone who spends five years in school, so whether the government gives you work or not you are responsible for you unsuccessful life.

All the training that we gain from school does not really apply to life in the sense that we graduate from college and yet we still don't know how to deal with debt, save money for rainy days or even how to make good investment decisions. All these things are not being taught in school,but these are just the things we face every day. Going to school is good but applying what we learnt in school to life is what matters. Because of this post I have done my little research on the top wealthy people and none is a medical doctor, lawyer or a professor all are business experts. If you look around your environment you see for sure that the wealthiest people are not those who depends on salary they earn from work but are those who are making investment in asset

Gone are those days when parents will talk us into going to the university to study a professional course so that we will stay in the government workforce, life has move if you think only the salary you will earn from government work is enough to make you successful then you are joking because some of our parents salary are not even enough to take care of the family needs, to send us to school or even build a house. So when you see all this is enough to say education is not the key to success but a leverage and enlightenment. We live in a country where a comedian is wealthier than a first class graduate just because he or she is cracking jokes and he is living a better life and a graduate is on the street begging for jobs. What a world so I am in the opinion that education is not the key to success.

Education is not the key to success maybe it was but not in this era the key to success is determination, consistency and dedication. No two ways about it, whatever you do, do it well whether book, skill or street.
