To be a good parent is a beautiful journey full of challenges and happiness, one have to be open minded to accept the the responsibilities that comes with being a good parent. while I am still a young girl, I'm desiring to be a good mother here are some of my approaches I will be applying based on my principles and values.

Love them unconditionally and Support them

How I intend to be a better parent to my children is by loving them unconditionally, accepting them the way God gave them to me, celebrating their uniqueness and their strength, not comparing them to others, being there for them even in the midst of their challenges.

Setting a Positive Example:

It is believed that children learn by observation most children mimic their parents I want to copy exactly what their parents are doing and to set a positive example which I would like my children to copy after me like the Bible says if we train our children in the way they should go at the end they will never depart from it simply means who is showing them the way, I intend to show them some good example like respect, empathy, self-discipline, humility, and how to love God. All this is what will happen in my daily interaction with them.

Effective Communication skills

Communication is the bedrock for every relationship I intend to have a health day parents to child relationship with my children I intend to how will free flow communication an honest one at that and giving them my listening ears to their feelings, emotions and encourage them too. I want to be the best friend to my children in which they can tell me anything, no matter how ugly the situation may be.

This is how I intend to be a good parent to my children and i trust that God will give me the grace to fulfill them.
