In the previous post I talked about the possible elimination of what was left of rewards, that is, what is gained by winning battles, based on an announcement that was made there. And indeed, last night, when resuming the game and winning the first battle, I came across a text box that said that only dec can be won in Bronze II. In other words, they are talking about Bronze II, that level that you cannot reach except when you have power and power implies making more expenses in the game. This makes the purchase of Speedbook practically meaningless, since before with it you could advance in the game (so it will take you forever to do enough dec to rent the cards). So the initial expense of Splinterlands is not that of the ten dollars of the Speedbook as it was before, but of about twenty dollars because your investment must carry enough to rent the necessary cards to go to Bronze II.

En el post anterior hablaba sobre la posible eliminación de lo que quedaba de recompensas, es decir lo que se gana por vencer en batallas, eso en base a un anuncio que se hizo por allí. Y en efecto, anoche, al retomar el juego y ganar la primera batalla me tropecé con un cuadro de texto que decía que sólo se podrá ganar dec en Bronce II. En otras palabras están hablando de Bronce II, ese nivel al que no puedes llegar sino cuando tienes poder y el poder implica hacer más gastos en el juego. Esto deja prácticamente sin sentido la compra de Speedbook, ya que con este podías avanzar en el juego (así te costara una eternidad hacer los dec suficientes para rentar las cartas). De manera que el gasto inicial de Splinterlands no es el de los diez dólares del Speedbook como lo era antes sinó de unos veinte dólares porque tu inversión debe llevar aparejado lo suficiente para rentar las cartas necesarias para pasar a Bronce II.

Si, se que habrá quien diga que el costo inicial de Splinterlands nunca ha sido de diez dólares porque la necesidad de rentar cartas siempre ha existido. Pero debe aclararse que a menudo la intención de hacer dinero rápido ha imperado, por consiguiente la gente entraba y de inmediato rentaba las cartas, pero quien no tuviese tanta prisa podía aprender y disfrutar del juego hasta reunir los dec suficientes para pasar al Bronce II y así sucesivamente.
What happened then? Well, Splinterlands is not for new players looking only to make money from ten dollars. ¿Qué ha pasado entonces? Pues que Splinterlands no es para nuevos jugadores que busquen sólo hacer dinero a partir de diez dólares. Si dispones de al menos veinte dólares al inicio, tendrás lo suficiente para avanzar, caso contrario te resultará mejor buscar otras opciones, resaltando una vez más que el costo inicial de Splinterland sigue siendo irrisorio comparado con otros juegos. ¿Y qué voy a hacer yo?

En realidad no pienso dejar perder mi inversión inicial, quizás cuando la recupere si entre en la consideración de dejar el juego, pero antes voy a disponer de lo necesario para alquilar las cartas y avanzar al nivel Plata y a staquear sps para optar por los cupones para la compra en preventa de la próxima entrega de cartas y tener los dólares necesarios para adquirir varios pack con las cuales obtener el bendito poder que se exige para pasar a Bronce II y no seguir rentando, al menos hasta el nivel plata. Además pueden venirse cosas interesantes en un futuro cercano para el juego.
La estrategia que implementaron es buena desde mi punto de vista, ps básicamente están motivando a qué las personas inviertan un poco más de capital al juego y sabemos que eso es bueno para la economía del mismo.
Por supuesto, pero para los jugadores nuevos no es muy agradable ir agarrando un poquito de dec y que eliminen eso de un solo plumazo. Y claro, para lo que cuestan otros juegos este sigue siendo muy barato, pero en principio son modificaciones que no serían muy apreciadas sobre todo para los novatos
Creo que se están tomando ese cambio personal o algo así, cuando no lo es, deben entender que son cambios en beneficio del juego y por ende para los jugadores...
