Greetings to all my fellow players around the world and to Splinterlands. How are you all doing Splinters? Hope you are all doing great.

End of Season is fast approaching. With just 3 days left, I am battling my way to step in Modern Diamond League. Its in my grasp but seems so far. Well, thats how it is, no easy way to climb up in the league unless we have powerful and high level cards. I wish everyone goodluck towards the end of the season and may you have your fair share of the rewards.

Almost everyone in Splinterlands have their own style of playing. We almost memorize all of our cards and ability. We already have a combo in mind before we start the game. It will just depends on the mana capacity and ruleset.

For this weeks Social Media Challenge I would like to share some insights of the Lost Legendaries and Even Stevens. We know for a fact that our strategy relies heavily on our legendary. But sometimes this modifier appear from time to time that hinder us from gathering our strongest card. And the most significant effect of this two modifier is it limits or narrows our option to pick the card we have on our deck. That is why I am putting our Common, Rare and Epic Cards as highlight for todays challenge.

✨Lost Legendaries

basically this ruleset makes us handicapped, me personally I like to use legendary because it is way ahead above the stats compare to other rarity. Although there are a lot of good cards from epic down to common but if I will make a choice I would still pick legendary as long as it can fit the mana cap. In battles that this ruleset appear, my thought is "I should have had upgraded my common or rare card at a level that can be summon by archon at the highest level."😄 That is why its important to have a balance level of card collection. Because every card has its purpose, thats why its created in the first place by Splinterlands.

✨Even Stevens

another handicapped ruleset, aside from not being able to summon legendary, this time it narrows the selection to only even mana cards. But I don't worry that much, because I know that if I am struggling to form my team, I am sure that my enemy is equally feels the same😄. Lets head into my battle that just happened a while ago with this two ruleset. Theres a third modifier, No Pain No Gain, but it doesn't affect the game so its not a highlight for this post.

THE BATTLE

You can watch the full battle by clicking the link above. But I would like to give some details on my lineup.

🐉AKANE: Its a good thing that even in Lost Legendaries, we can still use Legendary Archon. My first pick would be Akane to gain the advantage of Ambush for my two cards.

🔥DRYBONE MEGALODON: My tank is a max level Rebellion Rewards Card, aside from its huge Melee damage, it has Flank and Retaliate Ability. It provides me with more room to put in 2nd position. I can put a 2nd tank even without the Reach ability, it will have now, due to the effect of the Flank.

🔥CHAOS ORC: This second tank is a very good source of damage and can actually have a devastating effect to my enemy due to its Piercing and Trample Ability. I've experienced this Trample from my enemy where it annihilate my whole team.

⚔️MINDLESS THRALL: a Neutral unit and part of the Conclave Rewards Card, only at level 3 yet, this card is fast with 5 speed and Phase ability. Its also a good source of damage, currently at 3 magic attack. Neutral Element is a big help in times like this that option to select cards are very limited.

🔥ASHEN CINDERGRIM: a common unit with Opportunity Ability with 2 Magic damage.

⚔️TOKATAG CONSCRIPT: this is a Common Card from Rebellion Rewards Card, at max level it has 2 Range attack, with Sneak, Thorns, and Backfire. Supposedly for my last position but I decided to put a much faster unit.

🔥CONTINUUM SEER: also a Rebellion Rewards Card, at max level it has 3 magic damage, 8 speed but only has 2 Health and 1 Armor. But his low health is being compensated by his speed and combination of Backfire and Phase ability. That is why I pick this as my last card.

I was able to win this battle at just 4 rounds including the ambush round. We may have both max level archon but I had the advantage of having a higher level unit compare to him. It was a high mana battle but since we were limited to only even mana cards and cannot summon legendary, we were just able to use maybe half of that mana capacity. This battle also shows that having a max rewards card is very helpful, now that conclave arcana rewards are out and rolling, I am more dedicated to have them max out as soon as possible.

That would be all for now, thanks for reading, I will see you in next challenge. If you came accross with this post and you are not yet playing Splinterlands you can use my LINK and reach out to me so I can guide you to the best web3 gaming, Splinterlands😎.
