Before we go to my community engagement challenge entry I would like to share how I performed this last season and some thoughts on Splinterlands. Season 172 just ended, it was a very good run battling for 15 days. Finally got lucky on getting share of rewards card this season, not just but two rewards card. One common black foil conclave rewards card Thornmaw Berserker and one regular foil Luckiest Longshot. It feels good to have a fair share of rewards from Splinterlands💜. Season ends is also the time to harvest the fruit of our labor, which is the Glint. Bought 400 draws of common rewards card and 22 draws of rare rewards card. Making my Conclave Rewards Card much more stronger this season💪.

For the past couple of months or season, Splinterlands added this event where on every occasion they are launching a new ruleset or skins like in previous hollow fall🎃 and dragon feast🐉, I think that added some excitement and it makes Splinterlands current. And now we are at Winterfest❄️. New skins and giftboxes are up for grabs for this holiday. This kind if event will now continue and to show our support we can make some purchases to give back to our very game that we love.

🏛️Arena Architect

For this weeks Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge we are ask to become an Arena Architect and share the process behind creating our strongest, smartest, or most creative teams.

This battle that I'm about to share is from Modern Rank. The Ruleset are Weak Magic and Holy Protection at 44 Mana Cap with Fire, Life and Death Element to choose from.

Since Fire and Death Element is abailable, I can go for Lorkus for a strong magic team with wide choices of units to pick from two element. But with the ruleset of Weak Magic, I picked Fithe Bladestone. You may ask, Why? Because this Archon will provide two additional armor to all my unit and Void ability if I summon a Dwarf Unit from its own bloodline. Fithe Bladestone at this ruleset is very formidable along with fire unit. Now a key factor as well is the 44 mana cap. Its just in the mid range mana capacity, it limits us from using powerful high mana cards. Thats why Fithe Bladestone and Fire unit is suited for this type, because I can form a team using low to mid mana range while being protected by two armor and a possible void ability. Here are my best pick for this battle.

🧱My Team’s Core Structure

Pick a level 6 Archon to summon the highest possible level of units available from Fire and Neutral Element. Having the weak magic ruleset, the plus and two armor has help a lot to win this battle.

a level 2 of this awesome legendary unit gains the Resurgence ability, lots of armor and high melee damage. This is a pain in weak magic ruleset for a 7 mana card.

this common unit is a natural 2nd tank because it has reach ability. Was able to summon a level 8 Vicious Giraffe with Shatter Ability at a cost if 5 mana. Now the tank of my enemy will be expose once hit by this girrafe🦒😛.

though just a level 1 legendary, its demoralize ability is why I summoned this unit. Weakining the enemy attack to preserve the armor of my team. 7 mana as well, just a mid range choice to fit in mana cap.

this common card will be instrumental for this win because of its armor repair ability. Its an 8 mana unit with only 1 magic damage even at level 6 already. But its okay, its armor repair is sufficient enough to help the team.

this legendary dwarf at level 2 is just so nice unlocking the ability of corrupted healing to help the team recover from health, although its not likely to happen because the armor filters the damage from magic and the team has also a low health. It also has a magic reflect so even if worse come to worse that all the first four unit die this dwarf can still be a formidable frontline with his magic reflect and he will also have a void ability and two armor from Fithe Bladestone. Now thats a defense to offense unit right there at a cost of just 3 mana.

this legendary neutral unit is essential to my line up because of its silence ability at level 2. Although it has high mana and has low magic damage, its usefulness lies in his ability and huge health and armor. I put this at last position to safeguard my team from any sneak attack if ever the enemy decided to go for backdoor attack startegy.

⚔️ Key Synergies & Power Plays

Fithe Bladestone provided the two armor to all my unit providing additional layer of defense for my team and void ability to Inept Healer.
Oridum Graybrow will be the wall of my team, having a huge armor plus two from my archon the enemy will have to kill him twice before he can move forward to destroy my team.
The most painful part is I have a unit that repair armor, Conclave Tracker, the more Oridum Graybrow stands in enemy's way the more favorable to me.
Vicous Girrafe on the other hand with its Reach and Shatter ability will expose and my enemys unit. A direct hit to health is what will Vicious Girrafe brings to the table.
Emberguard sitting at third position will weaken the enemys melee attack, therefore its somehow protecting Oridum Graybrow from massive damage that my enemy may throw.
Inept healer is where I get the support for my team for healing damage unit. This unit is protected by two armor and void from Fithe Bladestone. Thus making me not worry from any sneak or opportunity attack.
Nalara Geinek is like my tank at the back protection from any any sneak attack. It has silence ability, now I have two debuffs one coming from Emberguard's Demoralize. Oridum Graybrow should survive longer with this ruleset and support from the rest of the team.
The dominating and powerful combos of Lorkus and Barashkukor looks weak in this battle. The counter play that I applied was successful Neutralizing the enemy.
A remarkable battle, building a perfect team in a specific ruleset.
