Painforge and Collateral Damage Ruleset || It Changes the Whole Game
Greetings to all my fellow players around the world and to Splinterlands. How are you all doing Splinters? Hope you are all doing great.
Everytime I find an interesting battle I am sharing it with the community and trying ti come up with a youtube video. And this time I try it on our own at Threespeak.
This Epic Battle is having the Painforge and Collateral Damage at the same time.
Being familiar to both ability, I know that I need to have a Unit that has a huge Health in oder to endure the effect of Collateral Damage. Its difficult to predict the outcome for this battle. But I won anyway with just a little margin and the winning hit came from my unit that I didn't expect to survive.
My Line Up
Eternal Tofu was on the top of my choice becuase it will add 2 Health to my team, will give my 1 Unit with Triage and Scavenger Ability, and lastly my team will have Thorn Ability.
I carefully pick my unit to form a team that can have a support and withstand the Ruleset and enemy attack.
- Halfling Refugee is a sacrifice unit for 1 mana, when kill, my unit with Scavenger Ability will benefit from it. Unless the enemy has a unit with Final Rest Ability.
- Endless Ape is positioned next to Halfling Refugee, it will be my next tank, this card has huge Health and has Scavenger Ability. So this card is essential for my team for my backline to have more time.
- Harbinger of Chaos I picked this card because of its Divine Shield Ability, the first damage he will recieve will be cancel out.
- Caravan Guard at 4th position will provide additional support for my team with his Triage Ability.
- Anchor-Hex Adept this is a new card from Conclave Rewards Card, again, I picked this because of its Divine Shield Ability. Now I have two Units with Divine Shield.
- Phlegmunculus last but not the least, this is just a 2 mana card that I put in last position and it is the only left space for the mana cap, I didn't expect anaything from this unit because it only have 4 health except to just die and protect Anchor-Hex Adept if ever my enemy has sneak monster.
So that is my line up that I come up with in under 3 minutes time. But I already analize that my team has high survivality than my enemy can come up with, unless Splinterlands faced me with high level cards enemy. And thats what happenned actually. So lets have a look at my enemy team.
Enemy Team
- Akane Level 4 was his Archon
- Halfling Refugee Level 6 it has heal ability.
- Saltwraith Bulkhead Level 1 this was his only low level card. Lots of armor and Health but will suffer from my Thorn.
- Dragon Egg Forager Level 5 with Scavenger and Oppotunity Ability. I like this card but unfornately it will recieve damage from my Thorn.
- Caravan Guard Level 3 with Triage Ability for additional support.
- Night Reaper Level 6 this is the biggest threat, already has 4 magic damage and for sure it will survive as his last card to activate the Last Stand Ability.
- Ujurak Elder Level 7 as his last unit with Camouflage, Divine Shield and Strengthen Ability. But I am sure he is expecting this card to die early since it has low Health and he needed the Night Reaper to be the last card standing.
Well the outcome is not as expected, of course I am hoping for a win but with his line up adding up the Ambush Ability of Akane on his two unit plus the Last Stand of Night Reaper, my hope is already gone. I just watch the battle unfold, but I was surprise towards the end. This two Ruleset of Painforge and Collateral Damage is really interesting. It amplifies the damage of a unit, but the health is dimishing every hit, so a support is needed especially if the battle becomes a long fight. I was expecting Harbinger of Chaos to be the my winning card but it turns out to be Anchor-Hex Adept and Phlegmunculus. I never would have thought that this card will survive 2 rounds, but instead it gives me the winning blow to end his Night Reaper that activated the Last Stand Already. Because if not, I don't know, I might lost this battle with 14 its magic damage. Breaks of the game and I am sure if face my enemy again in battle I will have a hard time winning against his deck. And again, just like what Splinterlands issaying, every card has its own use that will be a perfect fit in specific battle.
That would be all for todays epic battle, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy watching as well. If you came accross with this post and you are not yet playing Splinterlands you can use my refferal link and reach out to me so I can guide you to the best web3 gaming, Splinterlands😎.
