Season 170 is over, had my fair share of rewards from battling everyday. But I feel I needed more cards so I decided to add some legendary cards to my deck by renting them out in peakmonster. I rented them so I can have the feel if its effective or has a role in my team, if yes, then I can put this card on top of my list to buy.

The recent addition that came outstanding is Baron Fyatt. At the start of this season 171 I had a few wins already by using this card. That is why for this weeks Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge I am going to put Baron Fyatt on spotlight as my Hidden Gem.

💀Byron Fyatt

This card is a Legendary Unit, from Death Element and belongs to Rebellion Promo Card. I myself didn't believed this card can be an MVP in the game until two days ago that I rented it out since it has a low price at 1 $DEC per day. So I thought why not, since I like to use Lorkus of Death to form a magic damage team, he might give me a variations of attack. And it already brought me to two victory in modern rank battle. If I have known its a game changer then I would have had use Baron Fyatt much earlier. And surely I will buy this card for next season, I overlooked and under estimated this card.

✨What makes this card special?

Byron Fyatt's has only 1 Magic Attack, 6 Health and 2 Speed. Not so special right?😌. But his two unique ability, shown above, the Halving and the Scattershot is what makes this card stands out from the rest. The combination of this two ability makes this Unit dangerous. Since it has a scattershot, the Halving effect that it will inflict to my enemy can be anywhere. Its like weakining my enemy slowly but surely, spreading the Halving effect will take away the the damage that my enemy can inflict to my team. Unlike an ordinary unit that will only attack the enemy's unit in first position, Baron Fyatt's Scattershot will be more effective. It can even bypass the Taunt ability if ever my enemy use it.

❓In which mana caps or rulesets does it shine?

This is just my personal oppinion and base on my observation, Baron Fyatt is best to use in High Mana Battles. Why? Because at High Mana, we can select the unit with most damage that we can have, the halving effect together with Scattershit will affect greatly those unit. For instance, my enemy has 4 Magic Damage and was hit by Baron Fyatt, it will drop to only Two Magic Damage.
Baron Fyatt is best to use in Wands Out ruleset, Keep your Distance and Fog Fog of War. I think at Fog of War he has the Big Advantage because Scattershot still works in this modifier.

☑️What lineups or synergies bring out its full potential?

I am comfortable to pair Baron Fyatt with Lorkus. The additional 1 Magic Damage of will give Baron Fyatt an additional threat. And if its Death Element, Barashkukor should also be there to provide the heavy blows. Baron Fyatt should also be protected, so last and second to the laat position is probably the best place to put him. The longer he survive the more his Halving Effect will spread to the enemy. While he may not be the main source of damage, Barashkukor and the rest of the team will do that. The main role of Baron Fyatt is like a soldier that infiltrate the enemy camp, and weakining them from within.

🌟Why do you think more players should be using it?

Well for one, Baron Fyatt is Promo Card. Its a collectible item aside from being a very good card. Another is, the rental of Baron Fyatt is so cheap at 1 $DEC. Although at this time you might not find that price anymore, because I rented it right after the season that is why I am able to have a good deal. And another reason is the price in the market if you will buy this card now, its just $3.468 per BCX. Its already a good deal for a Legendary Promo Card.
