I think the players that were burning SPS plays an important role in reducing the supply of SPS with very little upside to them, so it is on the team to find a way to properly incentivize them and find more reason to convince other players to burn SPS too.
Hats off to those players that are willing to sacrifice sps in exchange for glint. Its still a reward, but glint has no direct monetary value not until they buy something and hits the jackpot.
And also those players are probably earning more glint even if they are not burning sps, so again thanks to those players that are helping not only the economy but all of us playing splinterlands. Very nice post @saydie.

Yeah...They were most likely getting much more glint than many of us, but still chose to burn their rewards for Glint. There needs to be other ways to reward them.
