Greetings to all my fellow players around the world of Splinterlands. Hope you are all doing great.

Before I went on to my battle for this day, I just want to say that I miss sharing moments in splinterlands, weather its cards, strategy, winning and loosing etc... Its been a while since I last wrote a post here in our community, I am not a very good writer but somehow I feel that special moments in Splinterlands is worth sharing. It kinda gives you a release of the feeling of being awesome in the battle. So here I am, back again and hopefully can sustain my consistency of posting splinterlands content.

Anyway, so the battle I am going to share today is about me fighting the same player twice this morning(Manila Time). I won the the first battle but I lost in our 2nd face off.

FIRST BATTLE

There you go, my opponent is none other than our very own, clayboyn, we all know who exactly who he is. A great part of Splinterlands team that continously help us bring the very game that we love. That is why it is somehow special that I fought one of the best, and was able to beat him 😅✌️.

You can watch the full battle replay on the link above. One thing about this battle is that the ruleset says that we cannot summon melee, and dragon breath which will have burning effect when our unit is struck by magic or range, the ruleset compliment each other. Lorkus might be a good bet in this kind of battle, with its life leech and affliction effect. But I manage to pull off a strategy that can outplay Lorkus by using units that attacks different unit at different position, thereby scattering the burning effect by using snipe, apex strike, and scatter shot. And of course my trump card is none other than Elowen Sylhpie, which gives my core unit a little room to work on by granting resurgence to my 1st and last card. What I loved about Elowen is that he is actually providing me 2 additional cards. So my opponent is like facing an enemy with 8 cards. But of course resurgence is also available in other cards in conclave arcana core set. Now lets go to our 2nd battle.

SECOND BATTLE

There it is, I was brutally murdered, I didn't even watch the battle, upon seeing his line up, I just press skip to result😭. But I watched it on replay while waiting for my next opponent. I realised that on our first battle, that maybe, just maybe.. he was just going easy on me because I have a low rating. He was not serious at all😆. And thank you for letting me win😆. Cryptic is on the top of my list of being the most difficult opponent. But it was fun, thats whats important.

Lately I was experimenting some line up that consist of Fire Archon Hanv and his bloodline, and had some success beating Cryptic. But once fire element is not available, I am 100% sure that I will be defeated. I also tried copying the Cryptic team but I guess it was not fit to my gameplay. I dont know, maybe every player has different style of playing. So if you guys have any suggestion on how to counter Cryptic team that would be much appreciated.

That would be all for now, thanks for reading, I will see you in next challenge. If you came across with this post and you are not yet playing Splinterlands you can use my link and reach out to me so I can guide you to the best web3 gaming, Splinterlands😎.
