Upcoming Chaos Legion Packs how will it affect the starters?

Splinterlands will be releasing the new packs in a few weeks from now and the Chaos Legion seems to be a game changer. This might be awful or good for the newbies. Awful in terms of cards the old players will have another good set of packs because of their SPS stakes this only means the old players somehow have a pre-ordered number of packs. Currently I have no idea how many vouchers will be provided to those power house players. Second this will be good with rentals, more cards means lower price for rentals which is good for upcoming newbies like me to the game. Just not sure how will affect the old cards. Would the older cards which is already out of print beats the chaos legion stats or vice versa?. For power rating I would consider Chaos legion as the main source, but who knows if it will be better or worse in terms of providing power ratings still i would try to buy as much as I can for this pack because I enjoy the game it self :) If you have thoughts about this feel free to drop it down.
