Splinterlands is a popular NFT-based trading card game that runs on the Hive blockchain. The game allows players to build their own custom decks of cards, each with unique abilities and strengths, and engage in strategic battles with other players from around the world. The game's blockchain-based nature provides several advantages, such as allowing players to truly own their cards and the ability to trade and sell them on the open market. With a thriving community of players and regular tournaments and events, Splinterlands has become a beloved game among NFT and blockchain enthusiasts alike.

n the world of fantasy and mythology, dragons are often considered to be one of the most powerful and majestic creatures. In Splinterlands, the Dragon element represents this mythical creature, and it is one of the most sought-after elements in the game.

Cards belonging to the Dragon element are known for their high damage output, as well as their ability to fly over enemy defenses, making them difficult to block. They also have a high health pool, making them resilient in battle. Additionally, many Dragon cards have unique abilities, such as the ability to breathe fire or to stun enemies, which can give them an edge in battle.

However, as with all elements in Splinterlands, the Dragon element also has its weaknesses. Additionally, Dragon cards are often more expensive to obtain compared to other elements, due to their popularity and power in the game.

Battle with Dragon

Vs Earth

I prefer to use a combination of the Dragon and Water elements in Splinterlands, as I am particularly fond of the Merdaali Guardian card. In my latest battle, I strategically placed the Hardy Stonefish card in front of the Chromatic Dragon, giving me the advantage of an extra attack against my opponent. Thanks to the healing abilities of the Merdaali Guardian, my Chromatic Dragon was able to sustain the attack and ultimately secure a win, as reflected in the 'W' on my battle record.

Vs Fire

In my latest battle, I once again utilized my go-to combination of the Merdaali Guardian and Chromatic Dragon cards. Anticipating that the enemy would deploy a Fire Elemental with blast ability, I strategically placed my Hardy Stonefish card to protect the vulnerable Merdaali Guardian from an early defeat. Thanks to the Chromatic Dragon's impressive evasion abilities, we were able to gain the upper hand in the battle. Meanwhile, the Ice Pixie card proved to be a valuable addition to my team, delivering powerful attacks while the other cards battled it out on the front lines.

Vs Earth

I stuck with my trusty combination of the Merdaali Guardian and Chromatic Dragon in my latest battle. Early on, I gained an advantage when the enemy's Venari Knifer missed a few crucial attacks on my Chromatic Dragon. To protect my key cards, I made the strategic decision to sacrifice a couple of cheap cards, including the Hardy Stonefish and Chaos Agent, absorbing the enemy's attacks and securing a clear path to victory. Despite a tough battle, we managed to come out on top, thanks in part to the heroic efforts of the Regal Paryton card.
