SPLINTERLAND AND THE STORY BEHIND IT
What is Splinterlands ?
Overall, Splinterlands is a fun and exciting collectible card game that combines elements of strategy, fantasy, and blockchain technology.
Splinterlands Background Story
The lore of Splinterlands is rich and expansive, with a wide range of characters, creatures, and locations to explore. The game is regularly updated with new content, including new cards, tournaments, and events, which help to expand upon the game's lore and keep players engaged.
In the world of Splinterlands, there are a total of nine different splinters, each with its own unique characteristics and playstyle. The splinters are:
Fire
The Fire splinter is focused on strong, powerful monsters that excel at dealing physical damage. Fire splinter monsters are often fast and agile, with high attack and low health.
Earth
The Earth splinter is focused on durable monsters with strong defenses. Earth splinter monsters are often slow but tough, with high health and low attack.
Life
The Life splinter is focused on healing and supporting allies. Life splinter monsters have abilities that can restore health or remove negative effects from allies.
Water
The Water splinter is focused on control and manipulation. Water splinter monsters have abilities that can debuff enemies or disrupt their strategies.
Death
The Death splinter is focused on direct damage and removing enemies from the battlefield. Death splinter monsters have abilities that can destroy enemies or cause them to return to the summoning stone.
Dragon
The Dragon splinter is focused on powerful, legendary monsters with unique abilities. Dragon splinter monsters are often expensive to summon, but can turn the tide of battle in a single turn.
Neutral
The Neutral splinter consists of monsters that do not align with any specific splinter. Neutral monsters can be used in any deck and have a wide range of abilities.
Elf
The Elf splinter is focused on fast, agile monsters that excel at ranged attacks. Elf splinter monsters have abilities that allow them to attack from a distance and evade enemy attacks.
Goblin
The Goblin splinter is focused on cheap, expendable monsters that can be summoned in large numbers. Goblin splinter monsters have low stats but can be used to overwhelm opponents with sheer numbers.
My favorite Splinter in Splinterlands
It's difficult to say what the "best" card in Splinterlands is, as the strength of a card can depend on the specific situation and the overall strategy of the player using it. However, some of the most highly sought-after and powerful cards in the game include:
Lord Arianthus
Lord Arianthus is a Legendary card from the Life splinter. He has a high attack value and the ability to restore health to all friendly monsters when he attacks.
The Kraken
The Kraken is a Legendary card from the Water splinter. He has a high attack value and the ability to remove all positive effects from an enemy monster when he attacks.
The Undying
The Undying is a Legendary card from the Death splinter. He has a high attack value and the ability to return to the battlefield after being defeated.
The Silvershield Paladin
The Silvershield Paladin is a Rare card from the Earth splinter. He has a high health value and the ability to reflect damage back to the attacking monster.
The Necromancer
The Necromancer is a Legendary card from the Death splinter. He has a high attack value and the ability to resurrect defeated monsters and return them to the battlefield.
Again, these are just a few examples of powerful cards in Splinterlands, and there are many other strong cards in the game. Ultimately, the "best" card will depend on the specific strategy and goals of the player using it.
Best Deck
I think its better to Focus on a single splinter. It can be overwhelming to try to build a deck with cards from multiple splinters, especially as a beginner. Instead, try focusing on a single splinter and building a deck with cards that all belong to that splinter. This will help you get a feel for the strengths and weaknesses of that splinter and allow you to develop a cohesive strategy.
Choose strong, durable monsters: As a beginner, it's important to have monsters that can withstand a few hits and continue to fight. Look for monsters with high health values and abilities that can help them stay on the battlefield.
Deck Example
Here is an example of a beginner-friendly deck using the Death splinter in Splinterlands:
Splinter: Death
Monsters:
The Necromancer (Legendary)
The Revenant (Rare)
Skeletal Warrior (Common)
Dark Haired Demoness (Common)
Shadow Spirit (Common)
Spells:
Infect (Common)
Blast (Common)
Weaken (Common)
Abilities:
Poison (Common)
This deck focuses on strong, aggressive monsters from the Death splinter, with a mix of high attack values and abilities that can remove enemies from the battlefield. The Necromancer has a high attack value and the ability to resurrect defeated monsters, while the Revenant has a high attack value and the ability to return to the battlefield after being defeated. The Skeletal Warrior and Dark Haired Demoness both have high attack values and can debuff enemies, while the Shadow Spirit has a high attack value and can attack from a distance.
The deck also includes a mix of supportive spells and abilities. Infect can reduce the health of an enemy monster over time, while Blast can deal direct damage to an enemy monster. Weaken can decrease the attack value of an enemy monster, while Poison can deal damage to an enemy monster over time.
This deck is designed to be aggressive and able to deal a lot of damage, while also being able to disrupt the opponent's strategy. It's a good starting point for a beginner looking to get a feel for the Death splinter and develop a cohesive strategy. Of course, as you become more familiar with the game and the different cards available, you can experiment with different decks and strategies to find what works best for you.
