Escolhendo o time

Hoje, participei da fray de batalhas de minha guilda do nível novice, com a restrição de uso somente das cartas de edição Alpha e Beta. Não tenho nenhuma dessas cartas! Quero participar das brawls, e resolvi me entregar totalmente a essa fray, para não ficar ainda mais para trás do que já estou no que se trata de monstros gladiadores. Então resolvi alugar algumas coisinhas.

Pensando no custo-benefício, aluguei um de cada summoner raro (mas com Xia Seachan no lugar do cobiçado Alric Stormbringer), os monstros raros mais importantes, quase nenhum épico e todos os comuns. Assim, devo ter monstros suficientes para vencer algumas batalhas, sem perder automaticamente pela ausência de algum splinter disponível em batalha. Não dá para arriscar!

Rumo às batalhas

Um tanto preocupado, comecei minha primeira partida. Já fui intimidado pela desvantagem em barracks: se o mesmo time fosse escolhido por ambos os jogadores, o adversário ganharia automaticamente. Ter que olhar de baixo para cima, mesmo quando não se trata de nada além do nível de construções de guilda, nunca ajuda a ter moral em combate.

Felizmente, não repetimos nossos monstros. Mesmo assim, o Chimney Wallstop do adversário dilacerou através de todos os meus soldados. Comecei a Brawl já com uma derrota. É o que dá não ter levado a sério o grind de Gladius mais cedo.

Já na segunda batalha, pude escolher o splinter branco, que é o meu forte com as cartas que tenho alugadas. Infelizmente, não tenho como exibir o resultado, pois meu adversário ainda não enviou o time dele, mas estou bastante esperançoso.

Na terceira batalha, tive que escolher o splinter verde. Sem poder usar cartas de Reward, ele parece bem fraco com monstros de nível 1, mas era o melhor que eu podia fazer com o que eu tinha alugado. Meu oponente também não tinha enviado o próprio time ainda, então não tenho como divulgar o resultado que ainda não aconteceu.

Em minha quarta batalha, pude usar o splinter branco. Foi um alívio, mesmo com a regra que anula armadura de todos os monstros.

Já na quinta e última batalha, dei o pior azar possível: meu oponente usou o summoner lendário azul, que está entre os top 3 melhores summoners do jogo inteiro. Tive alguma esperança, porque, pelo menos, ele não usou nenhum monstro Gladius. Só que minha esperança não foi justificada... Fui completamente destruído pelos ataques mágicos com 3 de dano de seus monstros rápidos e de alto HP. Não tive a mínima chance.

Tenho alguma esperança com as batalhas que ainda não foram realizadas, mas vou alugar cartas lendárias para a próxima Brawl, aproveitando para usá-las em torneios também. Assim, devo garantir uma quantidade de vitórias bem maior para minha guilda e um maior rendimento dos aluguéis.

Choosing the team

Today, I participated in the battle fray of my novice level guild, with the restriction of using only the Alpha and Beta edition cards. I don't have any of those letters! I want to participate in brawls, and I decided to give myself totally to this fray, so I don't fall even further behind than I already am when it comes to gladiator monsters. So I decided to rent a few things.

Thinking about cost-effectiveness, I rented one of every rare summoner (but with Xia Seachan in place of the coveted Alric Stormbringer), the most important rare monsters, almost no epics, and all the commons. So, I must have enough monsters to win some battles, without automatically losing due to the absence of some splinter available in battle. Can't risk it!

Towards the battles

A little worried, I started my first game. I've been intimidated by the disadvantage in barracks: if the same team was chosen by both players, the opponent would automatically win. Having to look from the bottom up, even when it's nothing more than level guild buildings, never helps your morale in combat.

Fortunately, we don't repeat our monsters. Even so, the adversary's Chimney Wallstop ripped through all my soldiers. I started Brawl already with a defeat. That's what I didn't take seriously about Gladius' grind earlier.

In the second battle, I was able to choose the white splinter, which is my forte with the cards I have rented. Unfortunately, I can't show the result, as my opponent hasn't sent his team yet, but I'm very hopeful.

In the third battle, I had to choose the green splinter. Not being able to use Reward cards, he seems pretty weak to tier 1 monsters, but it was the best I could do with what I had rented. My opponent also hadn't sent his own team yet, so I can't disclose the result that hasn't happened yet.

In my fourth battle, I was able to use the white splinter. It was a relief, even with the rule that nullifies all monsters' armor.

In the fifth and final battle, I had the worst possible misfortune: my opponent used the legendary blue summoner, which is among the top 3 best summoners in the entire game. I had some hope, because at least he didn't use any Gladius monsters. But my hope was not justified... I was completely destroyed by the 3 damage magic attacks of your fast and high HP monsters. I didn't stand a chance.

I have some hope with the battles that haven't been held yet, but I'm going to rent legendary cards for the next Brawl, taking the opportunity to use them in tournaments too. Thus, I must guarantee a much greater amount of victories for my guild and a greater income from rentals.
