Review of the Legendary Conqueror Jacek

Like any other of its kind, Jacek, as a Legendary Summoner, offers exceptional buffs other summoners and even Monsters can never dream of offering. Having Legendary Summoners available is specially important in high Mana cap battles, because there's barely any reason to use a lower rarity, less powerful Summoner when you can pick a Legendary leader instead.

You might be wondering if Jacek is actually any good, since his buffs are new and somewhat confusing. Is he really any good? Let's look at the stats.

Conqueror Jacek is a Legendary Summoner. Its rarity gives no buffs in battle, but it does present the downside of not being a choice in one or two match rules and a few tournaments that restrict usage of Legendary Summoner cards.

6 Mana Cost. Jacek uses Mana appropriate to a strong Legendary Summoner. Not playable in Little League matches.

+2 Speed - This buff to all your monsters' Speed stat isn't something as common as you might think. A few different summoners buff your team for +1 Speed or even reduce the enemy team's Speed by 1, sure. But this is the only Summoner that actually grants them +2 Speed.

In Fire Splinter, which is all about aggression, Conqueror Jacek might actually be even better than Yodin Zaku in many circumstances. Surely Yodin Zaku wins in high Mana matches, but Conqueror Jacek has the upper hand in anything sub-30 Mana caps. Both Melee and Ranged Monsters will attack, even if they have a big Opportunity target on their back due to their low health, all thanks to that increased Speed. Conqueror Jacek wants them dead before they ever get the chance to retaliate.

Scattershot - No more Monsters getting distracted by Taunt ability Monsters. Since you're using high damage monsters that attack first anyway, all that matters is making sure your glass cannons get a chance of attacking meaningfully.

Piercing - Since you're focusing on nothing but being aggressive, you don't want your Monsters cut off by 1 point of armor here and there. When all of them have Piercing, every attack might secure your victory.

When you buy Conqueror Jacek, make a that team of a few low and medium Mana monsters. Their scattered attacks get priority, so they get as many chances of dealing blows as possible. Never again watch your Serpentine Spy stop on its tracks for no good reason. Jacek is a great Summoner you'll use whenever Yodin Zaku isn't a prime choice for the task at hand.
