Sticking to the plan

I've decided to build an account solely for Silver III play in Splinterlands. The reasons for that are: I reach only slightly above 15000 CP by buying only useful cards because a gold foil legendary is one of them and I barely ever need to rent anything. This means my account will wildly increase in value over time.

I've chosen to stick around Silver III because I'd rather play multiple accounts since 15k CP is that much cheaper than 40k CP. It only gets more expensive to rank up, while multiple Silver III accounts let me loot chests both in daily and end of season rewards more than a single account would have.

Today, while completing my Water Splinter daily quest, I wasn't using any rentals whatsoever, yet it only took me 5 minutes to complete. Aside from the cards shown in the image above, I am also using Chaos Agent level 3, Gargoya Devil level 2 and Uraeus level 2 in my blue battles. These are the rewards I got for it:

I need Uraeus for my other accounts, but I'll promptly list Gargoya Lion for sale. If it's not part of the plan, then I don't want it.

If there's anything I felt my teams were lacking, it was a proper blue tank. Using 0 and 1 mana monsters fill the gap well more often than not, but it just doesn't do the trick every time. I know Baakjira sometimes shows up in top battles, so I might purchase or rent it. I think it's a really strong card.

Super Smash Brawls

Meanwhile, I've decided to upgrade my guild's barracks to level 2 on my own. It's a free-to-join guild, but you get banned if you get 0 wins in brawl or if I see you join a fray while holding 0 CP. We're currently full. I think managing it this way allows me to farm merits without any time investment, while also giving everyone else the opportunity to start their Gladius collection.
