How to make it out of Bronze league and into Silver FAST and CHEAP on league reset

Hello Splintermaniacs, another season, another chance to do things better. For us who must make our way all the way from Bronze league back up again, it can be a bit tedious doing all that grinding. However, today I will share with you my secret for getting out of Bronze and into Silver fast and with little renting investment.

Let's start with the obvious, this good friend from the forest will be your guide across the tedious landscape of Bronze league:

Beware! Enemies approach!

In this battle you can see how this is almost a perfect strategy for Bronze league. It's all of the previous cards plus Uraeus which I mention later in my rentals and I'll soon explain the other cards rented. Also you can see a level 3 Venari Scout, which I own, but any opportunist could of done the job.

You could even do this with the same cards on level 1, but obviously it gives you an edge to have them on higher levels, especially if you face the same strategy. Also, the prices don't go up that much so it's worth it.

Unicorn Mustang is a badass tank when combined with the thorns provided by Mylor. Its void ability will prevent magic from bringing it down quickly while the melee attackers struggle with the thorns. Meanwhile, having a couple of snipers is important as they will take out healers and archers before they can be of significant threat.

Uraeus in the back will attract both sneak attackers and opportunists, damaging with thorns and keeping them away from the snipers for a bit. Goblin Psychic keeps the Mustang in shape and the opportunist helps out either finishing off what the snipers have started or taking out any other weak card that it can.

It's one of the most effective strategies I've seen and played in Bronze so far, and will only be countered by General Sloan and a good set of archers. Luckily, the Sloan strategy is very vulnerable to magic, so people will think twice before using it.

The cool thing is you can adjust this to almost all mana caps in Bronze league. Only on 99 mana cap and 12-14 is it more vulnerable.

Note that in Silver this doesn't work anymore as mana caps tend to go beyond 30, which opens up many other possible strategies and also monsters have proper abilities to counter this, such as Reflection Shield. But since you want to get out of Bronze as quickly as possible, this will do quite well.

Hold up! Not all is so simple!

On this journey you will need mercenaries to guard your back while the team is resting and not fit for battle.

In case the rules don't allow Earth splinter and you can't use Mylor, it's good to have a backup plan. In my case I decide to have Tarsa with all the sneak attackers from fire and neutral Splinters. The big advantage is precisely that since Mylor won't be available, their worst threat is out of game and they should perform very well.

My recommendation is to rent the following:

Fire:

Tarsa lvl 2
Tenyii Striker lvl 2
Kobold miner lvl 3
Sand worm lvl 3
Elven Cutthroat lvl 3

Dragon:

Daria Dragonscale lvl 2
Dhampir infiltrator lvl 2

Overall it cost me around 65 DEC to rent all this on the first day of the season. Of course, it's an investment to get to Silver because it's unlikely you'll recover it from the rewards or SPS. But I assure you, this is not only cheap, but also effective and fast. I got to Silver with less than 10 defeats (didn't really count but they were few).
