In Akan culture - Ghana 🇬🇭 Fontomfrom ( Talking Drum) is the biggest drum of the drum ensemble. It is mostly used to communicate royal messages.
The Fontomfrom ensemble provides music for ceremonies honoring Akan chiefs and royal processions. It can also be used to recite proverbs or replicate patterns of speech at most Akan royal gatherings.
