Hello guys,

Today I am going to share with you another battle in @splinterlands.

Battle details:
I played with dragon splinter. And my opponent used a dragon splinter against me.

It was a battle of total 23 mana cap with two rules:

Silenced Summoners: Summoners don't give any status buffs/ debuffs or grant/ use any abilities.
Up Close And Personal: Only monsters with melee attack may be used in battles.

I had my DRAKE OF ARNAK level 1,DJINN CHWALA level 1, SILVERSHIELD KNIGHT level 1 and CAVE SLUG level 1.
And my opponent had his/her cards as DRAKE OF ARNAK level 1, DJINN CHWALA level 1, FINEAS RAGE level 1, KOBOLD MINER level 1 and COCATRICE level 1.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

~DRAKE OF ARNAK. level 1

This is a dragon summoner it adds +1 Armor to all friendly monsters. It needs 4 mana
Market.

I made a mistake by choosing this summoner. He was not adding anything to my team. So I should have picked KRETCH TALLEVOR instead and saved another mana point.

~DJINN CHWALA. level 1

This is a dragon monster at this level it has melee attack(2), speed(2), Armor(5), Health(9) and 1 ability:
Thorns: When hit with a melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.
Another ability at level 4 is Enrage: Has increased melee attack and speed when damaged.
Another ability at level 6 is True Strike: This monster's attacks cannot miss.

It neeeds 8 mana.
Market.

This monster is a great tank. My second monster made this tank even better.

~SILVERSHIELD KNIGHT. level 1

This is a life monster. At this level it has Melee attack(1), Speed(4), Armor(1), Health(5) and 1 ability:
Inspire: Gives all friendly monsters +1 melee attack.
Another ability at level 4 is Piercing: If melee or ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's Armor, the remainder will damage target's Health.
Another ability at level 8 is trample: When a monster with trample hits and kills its target, it will perform another attack on next monster on the enemy team.

It needs 6 mana.
Market.

This is a good support monster. It made the rest of my team better.

~CAVE SLUG. level 1

This is a life monster. At this level it has melee attack(2), speed(1), health(4) and 1 ability:
Opportunity: Monsters with the opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy monster with the lowest health.
Another ability at level 6 is Scavenger: Gains +1 max health each time a monster dies.
Another ability at level 10 is Slow: Reduces the speed of all enemy monsters.

it needs 5 mana.
Market.

This monster has decent attack power and health.

On the battlefield.

My opponent had a similar team to my own. Same summoner, same tank.

But my team gained more power thanks to SILVERSHIELD KNIGHT.

I was confident that I will win. My opponent lost too many monsters to be a real threat.

So I won.

It was a tournament battle so I did not win either DEC or rating points. My strategy worked well- DJINN CHWALA was a great option for both attack and defence.

DJINN CHWALA is a great monster and I really like it.

I would like having SAND WORM in my team.
