Hello guys,

Today I am going to share with you another battle in @splinterlands.

Battle details:
I played with dragon splinter. And my opponent also used a dragon splinter against me.

It was a battle of total 20 mana with two rules:
Noxious Fumes: All monsters start the battle poisoned.
Up Close And Personal: Only monsters with melee attack may be used in battles.

I had my BYZANTINE KITTY level 3, KRALUS level 2, CREEPING OOZE level 4 and FURIOUS CHICKEN level 4.
And my opponent had his/her cards as CAMILA SUNGAZER level 3, CURSED SLIMEBALL level 8, COCATRICE level 6, FIENDISH HARPY level 5, UNDEAD BADGER level 8 and DARK HA'ON level 3.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

~BYZANTINE KITTY. level 3

This legendary dragon summoner adds my entire team +2 speed, makes sure that my monsters will not any attacks miss and heals my tank each round.

It needs 7 mana.
Market.

I picked this summoner because I wanted to increase my tank's healing ability.

~KRALUS . level 2

Edition: DICE
Rarity: LEGENDARY
Element: LIFE
Attack: MELEE AND MAGIC
ABILITIES: Immunity and Flying at level 1, Heal at level 2, Strengthen at level 3.

This is a life monster, in this level it has melee attacks (2), Magic attacks(1), Speed (3), Health (12), Armor(5)

It has three abilities at this level which are-
Immunity: This monster is immune to negative status effects.
Flying: Has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters who do not have flying ability.
Heal: Restores a portion of the monsters health each round.
Another ability at level 3 is Strengthen: All friendly monsters have increased health.

This card needs 12 mana.
Market.

I choose this tank because it has a lot of health is immune to poison and can heal. That seemed like a good option for this battle. Strangely I don't think that I have used this monster for similar battles before.

~CREEPING OOZE. level 4

Edition: REWARD
Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: MELEE
ABILITIES: Slow at level 1.

This is a neutral monster, in this level it has melee attacks (1), Speed (1), Health (1).

It has one ability at this level which is-
Slow: Reduces the speed of all enemy monsters.
This card needs 1 mana.
Market.

I picked this monster to give my tank some protection in the first round.

~FURIOUS CHICKEN. level 4

Rarity: RARE
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: MELEE
ABILITY: Enrage at level 5.

This is a neutral monster, in this level it has melee attacks (1), Speed (1), Health (1).

Another ability at level 5 is Enrage:

He needs 0 mana.
Market.

Another monster that was on my team just to distract my opponent's monsters for one round.

On the battlefield.

Surprisingly my opponent used a strategy that I often used in the past in battles with poison rule. His tank was a scavenger so he was also using battle rule well. But scavenger is only beneficial while other monsters are dying on the battlefield.Sooner or later those extra lives end. On the other hand my tank had a lot of healing for entire battle even if battle would last to late rounds. So I was sure that my team has the advantage.

I lost my pawns but they did what I wanted them to do- distracted opponent's team and my tank was not attacked by all enemies.

Now my tank was the only monster I had remaining but my opponent was also about to lose his week monsters. Everything was going according to plan.

At this point my opponent already had no chance of beating me.

But my former strategy was also quite successful...

My opponent was able to prolong this battle for quite a while due to his scavenger ability and high base health of his tank..

But that effort was in vain.

In the end my healing and immunity prevailed.

In this battle I won 23.211 Dec and 35 League Rating. My strategy worked well- my dragon summoner and my tank had enough healing power to win this battle.

I like dragon summoners. Recently I started using them more often.

I would like having SAND WORM or some monsters with either scavenger or stun abilities.
