Hello guys,

Today I am going to share with you another battle in @splinterlands.

Battle details: I played with dragon splinter. And my opponent used a fire splinter against me.

It was a battle of total 19 mana cap with two rules:

Fog Of War: Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.
Broken Arrows: Ranged attack monsters may not be used in battles.

I had my DRAKE OF ARNAK level 1, CURSED WINDEKU level 1, ANCIENT LICH level 1, DARKEST MAGE level 1 and FURIOUS CHICKEN level 1.
And my opponent had his/her cards as MALRIC INFERNO level 3, CERBERUS level 3, SERPENTINE SPY level 4, KOBOLD MINER level 4, FURIOUS CHICKEN level 1, BEETLE QUEEN level 3 and GOBLIN SHAMAN level 4.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

~DRAKE OF ARNAK. level 1

This dragon summoner adds +1 Armor to all friendly monsters.
It needs 4 mana.
Market.

I had to use this monster because it is the theme for this week's challenge.

~CURSED WINDEKU level 1

This is a death monster at this level it has melee attack(2), speed(3), health(9) and one ability:

Thorns: When hit with a melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.

It needs 6 mana.
Market.

This monster is a decent tank.

~ANCIENT LICH. level 1

This is a death monster at this level it has magic attack(3), speed(1), health(3) and one ability:
Life leech: Monster's health increases each time it damages an enemy monster's health in proportion to the damage dealt.

It needs 7 mana.
Market.

Awesome mage but I made a mistake by not placing it in the last position.

~DARKEST MAGE. level 1

This is a death monster at this level it has magic attack(1), speed(2) and health(2)

It needs 2 mana.
Market.

I picked this monster because I still had a few mana available and archers were not available for this battle.

~FURIOUS CHICKEN. level 1

This is a neutral monster, in this level it has Speed (1), Health (1).

He needs 0 mana.
Market.

I picked this monster because it doesn't need mana.

On the battlefield.

My opponent was higher level and I made a huge mistake while selecting my team. Not a great start to battle.

But battle went better than I expected.

By the time I lost my tank my opponent already lost a few of his monsters.

It was a very close battle but I won.

In this battle I won 8.863 Dec and 20 League Rating. My strategy worked great- I protected my ANCIENT LICH long enough to win this battle. But placing it in the wrong position was a huge mistake.

DRAKE OF ARNAK is the best dragon summoner I have. I use it quite often.

I would like having more mages in my team.
