Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

Hello everyone. Today I am going to share my battle.

Battle details: I played with death splinter and my opponent used a earth splinter against me. Life teams were banned from this battle.

Battle Ruleset

It was a battle with 57 mana cap and three rules:

Ferocity: All monsters have the Fury ability.

FabFour: Up to four units may be used.

Odd Ones Out: Only monsters with odd mana costs may be used in battles.

Discussing My Lineup

Summoner, MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE level 3. This summoner removes healing abilities from my enemies, lowers enemy ranged attack power and gives my team Void ability.

First Position, LORD OF DARKNESS level 1. I used this monster because it has a good stats and can become more powerfuk with Enrage ability.

Second Position, CTHULHU level 2. This strong mage has Stun ability.

Third Position, ANCIENT LICH level 3. This powerful mage has Life Leech ability.

Fourth Position, HYDRA level 3. This monster with Heal, Thorns and Retaliate. This monster has the right abilities to defend my team from Sneak attacks.

My Strategy & Tips

I used four legendary monsters. My summoner lowered enemy magic and ranged attacks. My CTHULHU had to Stun enemy monsters. I hoped that my ANCIENT LICH will gain a lot of health so I placed it in the middle of my team and protected it from both sides. My HYDRA had to protect my team from Sneak attacks.

Analysis of The Battle

My opponent also lowered my magic attack power. He had two monsters with Taunt so they distracted my team. I lost my tank but enemy tank also perished soon. After that my ANCIENT LICH killed first enemy with Taunt. My enemy still managed to kill one my monster but in that time my ANCIENT LICH gained a lot of health and was able to slay remaining enemies. So I won.
