Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

Hello everyone. Today I am going to share my battle.

Battle details: I played with death splinter and my opponent used a water splinter against me. Fire and Life teams were banned in this battle.

Battle Ruleset

It was a battle with 60 mana cap and three rules:

Broken Arrows: Ranged attack monsters may not be used in battle.

Holy Protection: All monsters have the Divine Shiekd ability.

Fog of War: Monsters lose the Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity abilities.

Discussing My Lineup

Summoner, MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE level 3. This summoner removes healing abilities from my enemies, lowers enemy ranged attack power and gives my team Void ability.

First Position, HYDRA level 3.Normally I place HYDRA in the end of my team to protect myself from Sneak attacks but this time I didn't have to worry about that so I used her as my tank.

Second Position, HELHEIM DEMON level 1. I used this monster because I wanted to use it's ability Taunt to distract my enemies.

Third Position, USUT level 1. This monster can become more powerful by killing enemies.

Fourth Position, CTHULHU level 2. This strong mage has Stun ability.

Fifth Position, PHANTOM SOLDIER level 3. I used this monster because I wanted to lower enemy magic attack power.

Sixth Position, ANCIENT LICH level 3. This powerful mage has Life Leech ability.

My Strategy & Tips

For me most important things in this fight were Fog of War rule and high mana cap. They allowed me to use many powerful monsters in front of my team and hide ANCIENT LICH at the end of team because I knew that it will be safe there for long enough time to gain insane amount of health with Life Leech ability.

Analysis of The Battle

My opponent didn't listen to battle rules and ignored Fog of War. So two of his monsters were useless at the beginning of this battle. On the other hand my team was fully effective from the start of battle. I think that this made the decisive difference in the outcome of this battle and so I won.
