Battle of the day.

Hello everyone. Today I am going to share my battle.

Battle details: I played with death splinter and my opponent used a death splinter against me. Water and Dragon teams were banned from this battle.

Battle Ruleset

It was a battle with 23 mana cap and three rules:

Fire and Regret: All monsters have Return Fire ability.

Lost Legendaries: Legendary monsters may not be used in battles.

All melee attack monsters have Sneak ability.

Discussing My Lineup

Summoner , THADDIUS BROOD level 5. I used this summoner because I wanted to play with death team but mana cap was too low for MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE.

First Position, HAUNTED SPIRIT level 3. I used this monster as my tank because it can heal itself.

Second Position, REVEALER level 4. I used this monster because I hoped to Stun my enemies.

Third Position, RAVENHOOD WARDEN level 5. I used this monster because I wanted to give my team more armor and melee attack power.

Fourth Position, CURSED WINDEKU level 3 I used this monster because I wanted to protect my team from sneak attacks.

Fifth Position, FURIOUS CHICKEN level 1. This monster doesn't cost any mana. I used it as protection from Sneak attacks.

My Strategy & Tips

With this mana cap and ruleset ideally you would want to avoid using ranged attackers and built melee and/ or magic team. I still used one ranged monster because it gave my team armor and more melee attack. I used a few monsters as defense against Sneak attacks. In the future I should really level up my CURSED WINDEKU because on higher levels it gains Heal. I also used a monster with Heal as my tank and a mage with Stun ability.

Analysis of The Battle

My opponent had a higher level team. At first it seemed that I might not have much chance of winning this battle. Luckily my opponent's team had a few melee monsters with low health and they killed themselves by Sneak attacking my CURSED WINDEKU. I also succeeded in stunning my enemy tank. My HAUNTED SPIRIT with increased attack power did a lot of damage and so I won.
