Battle of the day.

Hello everyone. Today I am going to share my battle.

Battle details: I played with death splinter and my opponent used a earth splinter against me. Water and Dragon teams were banned from this battle.

Battle Ruleset

It was a battle with 37 mana cap and two rules:

Holy Protection: All monsters have Divine Shield ability.

Equalizer: The initial health of all monsters is equal to that of the monster on either team with the highest base health.

Discussing My Lineup

Summoner, MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE level 3. This summoner removes healing abilities from my enemies, lowers enemy ranged attack power and gives my team Void ability.

First Position, LORD OF DARKNESS level 1. This monster has good stats and Enrage ability.

Second Position, CREEPING OOZE level 4. This monster can slow my enemies.

Third Position, REVEALER level 4. This monster has Stun ability.

Fourth Position, ANCIENT LICH level 3. This powerful mage has Life Leech ability.

Fifth Position, RAVENHOOD WARDEN 5. I used this ranger because it gives my team more armor and Inspire my team.

Sixth Position, HYDRA level 3. a monster with Heal, Thorns and Retaliate.

My Strategy & Tips

I used Lord of Darkness as my tank because it has Enrage ability. I used monsters with good but not too high health because I didn't want to give my enemies high health( due to Equalizer rule). I played a few powerful mages, a ranged monsters who gives my team more armor and Inspire my team. In the last position I placed HYDRA as a protection from Sneak attacks.

Analysis of The Battle

My enemy had a strong team. He lowered my magic attack power and had a few monsters who can reflect magic attacks. So opponent's team was a counter to my mages. But my enemy made an interesting choice( a mistake?) by using a monster with a lot of health. This meant that my monsters also gained insane health. After I defeated two monsters with Magic Reflect the rest of this battle was not too hard.
