SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! VENARI KNIFER

Hello guys,

Today I am going to share with you another battle in @splinterlands.

Battle details: I played with earth splinter. And my opponent used a water splinter against me.

It was a battle with 99 mana cap.

Battle rules:
Explosive weaponry: All monsters have the blast ability.
Up Close And Personal: Only monsters with melee attack may be used in battles.

Battle lineup:

• OBSIDIAN level 2. This is the highest level earth summoner that I have.

• GRUND level 1. Double Strike. Very high attack power.

• OAKEN BEHEMOTH level 1. Reach and Void Armor. This is awesome monster and the only mage I could use in this battle.

• SAND WORM level 3. Sneak. Another weapon of mass destruction.

• FLESH GOLEM level 3. Heal. Another defence against sneak attacks.

• DISINTEGRATOR level 2. Demoralize. I knew that my opponent will have many melee attack monsters so I decided to weaken them all.

• VENARI KNIFER level 1. Thorns. I had to use this monster because it was the theme of this week's challenge. Defence against sneak attacks.

Battle strategy.

I had multiple monsters with very high attack. They were the offensive part of my team. Remaining monsters were protecting my team from sneak attacks and DISINTEGRATOR weakened my enemy.

On the battlefield.

My opponent had a strong melee team. His DEMENTED SHARK negated my DISINTEGRATOR.

Both teams lost 1 monster. But my team did a better job destroying my opponent.

And I won.

In this battle I won 2.094 DEC and 38 League Rating. My strategy worked well-my team had superior attack and defence.

This was probably the first time when I used VENARI KNIFER in battle.

I would like having GOBLIN MECH in my team.

Final Thoughts: VENARI KNIFER - worth buying?

Yes. At low level this monster has quite low health and decent attack power. I think that I made the right choice by using it as defence from sneak attacks. For this purpose this is a great monster.
