Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

Hello everyone. Today I am going to share my battle.

Battle details: I played with earth splinter and my opponent used a earth splinter against me. Only earth teams were available.

Battle Ruleset

It was a battle with 26 mana cap and three rules:

Heavy Hitters: All monsters have Knock Out ability.

Noxious Fumes: all monsters start the battle poisoned.

Blood And Sunder: All units gain Corrosive Ward.

Discussing My Lineup

Summoner, IMMORTALIS level 3. This summoner lowers enemy health, gives my team Void and Shatter abilities. I used this summoner because I wanted to defend from magic attack.

First Position, HYDRA level 3. This monster with Heal, Thorns and Retaliate. This monster is great protection from melee attacks.

Second Position, VENARI MARKSRAT level 5. The death of this monster makes nearby monsters stronger.

Third Position, KRON THE UNDYING level 2. A powerful mage who can heal itself.

My Strategy & Tips

I used HYDRA and KRON because they have healing ability. I placed sacrifice rat between them because I knew that rat will die soon and make my remaining monsters even more powerful. I hoped that my main weapons will survive because of healing and will outlast my enemy team. I would have loved having some monster(s) with Stun ability. But mana cost was too small for that.

Analysis of The Battle

My plan worked well. My sacrifice rat died and made my HYDRA and KRON stronger. After that my enemy no longer could whistand the combined power of my monsters and poison rule. And so I won.
