Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

Hello everyone. Today I am going to share my battle.

Battle details: I played with water splinter and my opponent used a fire splinter against me. Earth, Death and Dragon teams were banned in this battle.

Battle Ruleset

It was a battle with 21 mana cap and three rules:

Lost Magic: Monsters with magic attack may not be used in battles.

Rise of the Commons: Only common and rare monsters may be used in battles.

Noxious Fumes: All monsters start the battle poisoned.

Discussing My Lineup

Summoner, KELYA FRENDUL level 5. This sommoner adds my team more speed and armor.

First Position, SEA MONSTER level 6. This monster has great melee attack and two abilities: Heal and Thorns. That means that this monster is good counter to melee monsters.

Second Position, CREEPING OOZE level 1. This monster can slow enemy team.

Third Position, KELP INITIATE level 3. I used this monster because it can remove poison from my tank,

Fourth Position, SULTRY BARMAID level 3. This monster can ambush and stun my enemies.

My Strategy & Tips

Battle rules and mana cap were very limiting so I decided to play one strong monster and use the rest of my team as support. I picked SEA MONSTER as my tank because it has healing ability. I also used monsters who can slow enemies, remove poison from my tank and stun enemies. My strategy was simple: I hoped that my SEA MONSTER and poison rule together will kill all my enemies.

Analysis of The Battle

My enemy also removed poison from his tank but in the end my SEA MONSTER was a stronger tank. And poison rule killed most of remaining enemy monsters. So I won.
