Unprotected: Monsters do not have any armor and do not get armor from abilities or summoner buffs.

Discussing My Lineup

Battle 1.png

Summoner , KELYA FRENDUL level 4. This summoner adds +1 speed and armor. I used this summoner because I wanted to use water team and make it faster.

First Position, SEA MONSTER level 5. This monster has huge melee attack(5) and can heal itself.

Second Position, MEDUSA level 3. This monster has stun ability.

Third Position, SWAMP SPITTER level 5. This monster can repair lost armor.

Fourth Position, SULTRY BARMAID level 3. This monster can ambush enemies and has a stun ability.

Fifth Position, VENARI MARKSRAT level 4. Death of this monster makes adjacent monsters stronger.

Sixth Position, HYDRA level 2. This monster can heal itself and has Thorns ability. So I used it as protection from sneak attacks.

My Strategy & Tips

I think that for aimless rule most important is too have as many monsters as possible so enemy would have more targets and be less likely to hit your strongest monsters. On the other hand you don't want to have monsters who just stands doing nothing. I believe that all monsters should be able to either attack the enemy or fulfil some other function. In this case I used monsters who can attack and stun my enemies. Or repair armor. VENARI MARKSRAT was meant to die and make my HYDRA more powerful. Hydra was not able to attack from it's position but served as protection from sneak attacks( Due to unprotected rule I expected that my enemy may be tempted to use sneak monsters). Also as you can see I really love monsters with Stun ability. When possible I would recommend having at least one of them in my team.

Analysis of The Battle

My opponent used similar strategies to me- he has many monsters and sacrifice rat that had to make his other monsters stronger. Also each enemy monster benefited his team. Battle was close- most of my monsters died but my HYDRA became more powerful after rat died and was able to slay remaining enemies.
