SPLINTERLANDS ART CONTEST - TARSA FALLING IN LOVE WITH VALNAMOR

Introduction

Greetings all of my friends on PeakD!

I am super excited to participate on Splinterlands weekly art contest. At the moment, I am going to show you the Romeo and Juliet Story of Splinterlands. The love story between Fire and Water Splinter. Here is my final drawing for the couple :

The artwork was inspired by 2 great cards, the first one is Tarsa, The Fire Summoner of Chaos Legion edition and another one is Valnamor, The Water Summoner of Beta Edition. Here are the monsters :

The Idea

Alright, the idea comes when I was looking at all summoners card. There I saw many human figures like Waka, Zintar mortalis, etc and then I started to think, hey, what if I took the most beautiful summoner and the most handsome summoner and then combine them in a single picture, falling love each other..., Does that look awesome??? and then I chose Tarsa and Valnamor.

I like Tarsa because she has middle hair between her eyes so I can modify it a bit. Her red hair is beautiful too. Another reason is her dress looks simple and I think very easy to draw. Speaking of Valnamor. To be honest, I just interested on his hairstyle only 🤣. It looks pretty nice to me. His cloth is complicated so I just prefer to draw him wearing jacket like 21 years old boy.

The Step of Making-Process

Here is the Tools and materials I was using to draw "Tarsa falling in love with Valnamor" :

Step #1

First thing first, I sketched Tarsa and Valnamor hand in hand each other, where Tarsa looks very excited to be with Valnamor as we can see smile in her face. In that moment, I used mechanic pencil and eraser to remove wrong line or shape.

Step #2

Then, I made all the line become bold using pen and gave color to Tarsa hair and her gown because I do really like her hair so much and her gown looks beautiful. I add some shaping style on her gown to make it awesome.

Step #3

The next step is giving color to Valnamor hair and jacket. I gave blue color for his jacket to keep his identity as water summoner. I gave color also to the skin of both couple and... rosy cheeks in Tarsa face as she love Valnamor 😍.

Step #4

The next step is to give all color to both Tarsa and Valnamor body like their clothes and eyes. Speaking of eyes, I just add few color since I am a bit afraid to ruin their appearance.

Step #5

The last step is giving background for my drawing. I gave red color in the left side since Tarsa is the fire summoner and blue color in the right side since Valnamor is the water summoner.

Alright, that's my artwork guys, I hope you all like it. I will always enhance both my drawing and coloring skills to generate better picture. Thanks for looking at my artwork.
