BATTLE WEEKLY CHALLENGE - WAKA SPIRITBLADE VS LV.3 FLESH GOLEM WITH MYLOR, WHO'LL WIN?

Introduction

Hi hi Everybody,

Who is exciting with the new "crazy" death summoner which worth thousands of dollar? Yapps, in this post I am going to write the highlight of the Waka Spiritblade battle vs Mylor using Lv.3 Flesh Golem. The Waka Spiritblade sale was being held 2 days ago (February 24th, 2022) and it was sold in less than 30 seconds. The reason behind very high demand to Waka is because of it's ability. This summoner will give poison ability to all friendly monster.

Ability	Name	Explanation
	Poison	Attacks have a chance (50%) to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied. Poison does 2 damage each end of the turn and is not affected by shield or void.

That's why the poison ability is so deadly. Suppose your poison monster hit opponent monster in the backline and poison get activated, it couldn't be cleansed since cleanse only works for the 1st position monster. The only solution to overcome poison is putting monster in the backline who has the heal ability, for example Water elemental, earth elemental, Cornealus, etc.

Summoner Stats

This card has the maximum level at the beginning (Lv.4) as the legendary summoner so it can be played at any league to call any kind of monsters in any level. 3 mana makes it special since most of legendary summoner has more than 3 mana (except Selenia Sky and Camila Sungazer). Mana and Rule Set

Rule Set	Name	Explanation
	Taking Sides	Neutral Monsters may not be used in battles.
	Healed Out	No type of healing is allowed in the battle. So, abilities like Tank Heal, Triage, Heal are rendered useless. This de-buff cannot be removed by using Cleanse. Summoners Like Byzantine Kitty, Scarred Llama and Chanseus The Great cannot perform Heal and Cleanse either.

Line Up

Monster	Name	Reason to pick Up
	Mylor Crowling	I used this summoner to give Thorn ability to all of my monsters since I saw the opponent like to use Melee monster in his last 5 matches.
	Flesh Golem	The reason I chose this card was because the opponent used Waka Splinterblade so I need monster who can heal himself. But I realized the rule set was Healed Out so the heal ability won't be activated. It gives advantage to the opponent.
	Fungus Fiend	This monster is used to anticipate opponent monster who has opportunity ability. Since its mana is 0 we are free to put it anywhere.
	Wood Nymph	The actual purpose why I chose this card is restoring health of my tank monster (Flesh Golem) in each round, but I forget that the Rule Set was Healed Out so the tank heal ability is not available in this match. My Bad.

Match Preview

Round 1

This is the battle in Silver league rank #2555. Looks like the Waka user is climbing up for the Silver leaderboard as we can see at his line up. Pretty amazing cards, 100% gold foil and at the maximum level.
We can understand why he is putting many monsters in the backline. He want to increase the probability to activate the poison effect on my monster. He also put Undead Priest to reduce my monster health point so that my monster can die faster. We see unbalance of power in this match 😅

Round 2

Mylor team successfully killed Corpse fiend and undead Priest but we all know that both monsters are just attack absorber. The real tank is Life Sapper who can increase his health point every time he has successfully hit an attack to his enemy. In this match my Flesh Golem got huge attack from ranged attack. the poison has been activated as well.

End of Round 2

In the end of round 2, My Flesh Golem is died due to poison. My Fungus Fiend and Wood Nymph are also died after receiving high attack from Soul Strangler and Weirding Warrior.

I lost in this match but I'm grateful that I can fight against Waka Spiritblade which are only 500 cards in total. Super rare card compared to the total players in Splinterlands around more than 2 million accounts. I hope I can meet Waka Splinterblade again in the next match and win it, so the article about how to beat Waka Splinterblade can be shared.

Opinion about Waka Spiritblade

I think this summoner is very strong. If the poison is activated to the monster in the backline, It will kill the monster quickly unless the monster has self healing ability like Water Elemental, Cornealus or Earth Elemental. I think the way to beat this summoner's team is to kill all the monster quickly with massive attack like blast since there's no protection against Waka's team. We need to kill all the Waka's team before the poison get activated to our team.
