Splintershards (SPS): The Governance Coin and My Investment Journey

Today I will be talking about SPS point which is known as Splintershards. Open people call it SPS because this is easily to use and college which is also the governance coin of splinterlands game. The part of government is an important component in any project especially if the project is more inclined towards decentralization. Currently this game is not decentralised but the kind of development they are doing his more driven by the community.

With SPS the power is given to the community were everyone has the ability to create proposal and publish it. This will be available for the community to approve or reject whatever they want so if it is approved by the community with majority state them the proposal will become reality. The game has to do it since it is a approved proposal. This is where the governance play an important role because more holding means you have more power to support the proposal which can be either in favour of it or against proposal.

Apart from that sps is also playing an important role in the season end reward. What I am trying to say is that if you hold more SPS power in your game account then the reward you get also going to be higher. There is it detailed table available which I can share if anybody required and through that table they will get to know that how much experience is required for certain threshold of in-game reward.

My SPS buying behaviour

I did buy a few times this point when it was available at much lower price in the market then we have it now. I never thought at that point of time that the price but is coin can also cross one cent but now it is a reality. I was buying in parts and I am happy to say that I made it 40k token in a matter of couple of weeks.

Now the price is up and that is why I had to put a pause ⏯️ on my buying for sometime. I don't know how much time it will take for the price to come down because as a buyer I will always prefer the price to be on the lower side so that I can buy more. I hope the people who are waiting to book profit will not get angry on me because I am saying something which is not good for them anyways.

Splintershards Goal

After going through the market sentiments and how I am investing on the game to different assets I have decided that my immediate goal is 100K SPS tokens. This is going to be in form of SPS power with means all the tokens will be locked in the game. I will not keep I need to come in liquid form because I am not looking to book profit he also and whatever I have invested or whatever I am going to invest will stay here for a long term. The reason simple because I believe that this token has got a fantastic utility and great use case in the game.

I will continue to monitor the price and whenever I see some dip on this will go ahead and buy whatever is possible for me and it is also dependent upon the funds I hold with me. The trip to market is unpredictable which means we don't know what is going to happen next day and sometime based on the technical analysis few things can be predicted how ever it is never a guaranteed approach that we are going to see this happening in the market. So in away there is always some amount of risk involved and we need to keep that in mind for going ahead with investing on different projects.

Although I have put pause on my sps buying but that does not mean I will not buy instead I will just wait for the right buying opportunity and whenever I see a good price then I will go ahead and buy some because ultimately I will be trying my best read my goal with in this year or it possible them before end of this year. Have I already mention that nothing is going to in this market so considering the risk appetite and how much I can manage I thought investing on SPS is a better option since it is the token which is part of the governance and the project itself is doing great. What is very important to choose the right project and I am happy that I have chosen splinterlands as the first ever web3 gaming project in my portfolio which is surely going to grow a lot in future.
