SPS (splintershards) is the coin for the Splinterlands game. This is a coin that is listed on various exchanges. Because this coin is listed on multiple exchanges so it is easy for anybody to enter the token market and buy it. When I joined the game, the process was not really easy because buying was easy, but moving those tokens back into the game account was not. However looks like things are better, but to be honest, I have not tried that for the last few months. I did my bigger buying with SPS after a few months post my joining the game, and in the beginning, I had to struggle a lot, but thankfully, my mentor was very helpful. Because of his help, I was able to sort out things and managed to move those tokens into my game account and power up. I am planning to buy more tokens, but it's just that it is not happening, so it might take some time, but let's see when the time arrives, and I can buy another bunch of SPS coin.
Yesterday, there was a notification in the game Discord Server that this coin is listed on the Coin Market Cap website, which I think is great news. Earlier, I knew that it was listed on the Coingecko website, and it's also a popular portal. But I think the coin market is highly popular among crypto people, so they often use it to check various information and statistics about any coin or project related to crypto.
I checked for the listing in the portal, and I was able to see this, which is really interesting because now we can track multiple information about this coin and how it is doing. If you look at the price for the coin, you will see that it is on a downtrend, and it is not the only coin that is going through this situation; rather, there are many coins that are going through the same scenario because of the bearish market sentiment. I believe that SPS has got potential because of the overall utility in the game ecosystem and maybe this time some people are selling the coin or maybe there is less demand for the coin for now in the market which is why we are not seeing any value appreciation but as I see that the team behind the game is trying to add more value and create more demand for the token in market we can expect the value appreciation happening on this coin.
I have seen SPS price above $0.01 for some time, and currently it is slightly higher than half a cent, which is low, and I have also seen a lot of people buying and growing their overall token holding with SPS, which might be A good move. It can be a good decision, I believe, because if things grow in future, the value appreciation is going to happen on the coin and because the game is still doing great in terms of the overall adoption and gamification, which I hope will drive more people towards the game. If you are playing the game, then you know what the demand for SPS is and what the utility is as well for the same coin in the game, so there are high chances that either people will buy, or they will go for the lease.

We have the option to take SPS power on lease, but I believe the demand is higher than the supply, and that is why it will never be enough to get these at a reasonable price, and it will also generate a revenue stream for the people who are holding a good balance of SPS coin in the game. Because I'm tracking this coin closely with its price, hopefully I will be able to buy some tokens and add to my balance in the game, because I am trying to make it 200K SPS holding as soon as possible, but I don't exactly know when I'm gonna do this.
