Hello Splinterlandians! I've been active on the marketplace again, but contrary to what you might think, I didn't buy Conclave Arcana cards. Instead, I bought four more cards from the Rebellion expansion, which can also be played in Modern and are very powerful. This will probably be the last time I buy Rebellion cards, but you can't say that with absolute certainty.

In today's blog, I'd like to report on my purchases and briefly introduce the four cards to you. I'll discuss the cards themselves, the reason for buying them, and the price I paid for them. Please keep in mind that I upgrade the cards to the Silver League level cap at most, as my Archons can't play at a higher level. Enjoy reading! 😊

Satha Toledo

The first card I bought was Satha Toledo. It is an epic card from the Earth Splinter, costs five mana, and is a ranged attacker that can be played from the back row, mainly as a supporter due to its Tank Heal ability. The card's offensive qualities are very limited due to its lack of abilities and low attack.

When the card is leveled up, it doesn't actually change that much, not even in terms of stats. The card only gains Lookout (Level 2) as a second ability, and only the Ranged Attack is significantly increased by the improvements.

The Lookout ability on the second level would be interesting, but I decided to test Satha Toledo on the first level for now. Shortly after purchasing her, I had already used her several times and had a positive impression, so I might upgrade this card in the near future.

Epic cards are generally not cheap, of course, and this one is no exception. I paid $2.20 for one copy.

Chaos Jailer

The second card I bought and would like to introduce to you is Chaos Jailer. This is a melee attacker from the Death Splinter that costs five mana. The card's stats aren't really anything special, but I think the combination of the two abilities Opportunity and Ambush is quite useful. There will also be some other strong abilities.

When Chaos Jailer is leveled up, the abilities Poison (Level 2) and Slow (Level 5) are added, both of which are really good. However, the card's attack is only increased at the last level.

Since I hardly have any cards with the Poison ability in my collection, I decided to play the card at the second level. This is where the Poison ability comes into play and the card becomes a serious alternative.

Fortunately, the card is relatively cheap and I only paid a total of $0.83 for the five copies.

Thanalorian Scion

The next card I'm going to introduce is an epic card and belongs to the Water Splinter. It is Thanalorian Scion. It is a Magic Attacker that can be played for five mana and is best known for its high armor in combination with the Void Armor ability. In addition, the card has the Corrosive Ward ability from the first level onwards.

By leveling up, the card only gains the ability True Strike (level 5), which I don't consider particularly useful for a Magic Attacker. In addition, two attack points are added up to the maximum level.

my collection for a long time and have played it frequently. Now that I also have an Elf Archon, I've decided to upgrade Thanalorian Scion to level three, as this adds another magic attack point.

This epic card isn't exactly cheap either, but luckily I found one on the market for $7.10 that was already at level three.

Sultry Barmaid

The last card I bought is a common card called Sultry Barmaid. She belongs to the Water Splinter, is a ranged attacker, and costs five mana. The stats aren't bad for the cost, but they're not outstanding either. The Ambush ability, which the card has from the start, allows for an attack that can be very important with an ability that comes later.

This is because the upgrades add the Stun ability (level 3), which is quite good and not many cards have. In combination with the Ambush ability, with a little luck, enemy units will not be able to attack for the entire battle.

And that convinced me that I wanted to play the card at the third level. Upgrading to the fifth level wouldn't have made much sense, as it only adds one speed point and one life point, and that wouldn't have been worth it to me.

I even bought a gold foil version here, as I only need one copy for the third level and that was ultimately cheaper for me. This copy only cost me $1.15.

Last Words

As always, I warmly welcome the four new cards to my team! Even though I already own some cards from the Rebellion expansion, there are still some powerful cards that I was missing, but which I have now acquired. As already mentioned, however, it may be that I have bought my last Rebellion cards. But who knows, maybe one or two of the missing Rebellion cards will still convince me.

Hallo Splinterlandians! Ich war mal wieder auf dem Marktplatz aktiv, habe aber nicht wie man vermutlich denken mag Conclave Arcana Karten gekauft, nein. Denn ich habe noch mal vier Karten aus der Rebellion Erweiterung gekauft, die ebenfalls in Modern gespielt werden können und auch sehr spielstark sind. Vermutlich wird es das letzte Mal gewesen sein, dass ich Rebellion Karten kaufe, jedoch kann man das nicht mit absoluter Sicherheit sagen.

Im Rahmen des heutigen Blogs möchte ich daher mal wieder über meine Käufe berichten und euch die vier Karten kurz vorstellen. Dabei werde ich auf die Karten an sich eingehen, den Kaufgrund und den Preis, zu dem ich die Karten erwerben konnte. Vergesst bitte nicht, dass ich die Karten maximal auf das Silver League Level Cap upgrade, da meine Archons kein höheres Level spielen können. Viel Spaß beim Lesen! 😊

Satha Toledo

Die erste Karte, die ich gekauft habe, ist Satha Toledo. Es ist eine epische Karte aus dem Earth Splinter, kostet fünf Mana und ist ein Ranged Attacker, die vor allem wegen der Ability Tank Heal als Supporter von den hinteren Position gespielt werden kann. Die offensiven Qualitäten der Karte sind aufgrund fehlender Abilities und niedrigem Angriff sehr begrenzt.

Wenn die Karte gelevelt wird, ändert sich diese tatsächlich gar nicht so sehr, auch nicht bei den Stats. Als zweite Ability erhält die Karte lediglich Lookout (Level 2), und nur der Ranged Attack wird durch die Verbesserungen nennenswert erhöht.

Die Ability Lookout auf dem zweiten Level wäre zwar interessant, jedoch habe ich mich erstmal dafür entschieden Satha Toledo auf dem ersten Level zu testen. Bereits kurz nachdem ich sie gekauft habe, hatte ich sie schon mehrmals eingesetzt und hatte einen positiven Eindruck, deshalb könnte ich diese Karte in naher Zukunft upgraden.

Die epischen Karten sind natürlich allgemein nicht billig, genau so wie diese. Ich habe für ein Exemplar 2,20$ gezahlt.

Chaos Jailer

Die zweite Karte, die ich gekauft habe und euch vorstellen möchte, ist Chaos Jailer. Es handelt sich hierbei um einen Melee Attacker aus dem Death Splinter, welcher fünf Mana kostet. Die Stats der Karte sind nicht wirklich besonders, jedoch halte ich die Kombination der beiden Abilities Opportunity und Ambush für ziemlich brauchbar. Außerdem kommen noch einige starke Abilities dazu.

Denn wenn Chaos Jailer gelevelt wird kommen die Abilities Poison (Level 2) und Slow (Level 5) dazu, welche beide richtig gut sind. Der Angriff der Karte wird dafür allerdings erst auf dem letzten Level erhöht.

Da ich in meiner Sammlung kaum eine Karte mit der Ability Poison besitze habe ich mich dazu entschieden die Karte auf dem zweiten Level zu spielen. Hier kommt nämlich die Ability Poison hinzu und die Karte wird erst zu einer ernsthaften Alternative.

Glücklicherweise ist die Karte relativ billig und ich habe für die fünf Exemplare insgesamt lediglich 0,83$ gezahlt.

Thanalorian Scion

Die nächste Karte, die ich vorstelle, ist eine epische Karte und gehört zum Water Splinter. Es handelt sich hierbei um Thanalorian Scion. Es ist ein Magic Attacker, der für fünf Mana spielbar ist und vor allem für die hohe Rüstung in Verbindung mit der Ability Void Armor bekannt ist. Außerdem besitzt die Karte vom ersten Level an die Ability Corrosive Ward.

Durch das Aufleveln erhält die Karte die lediglich die Ability True Strike (Level 5), welche ich für einen Magic Attacker als nicht besonders sinnvoll erachte. Außerdem kommen bis zum Maximallevel noch zwei Angriffspunkte dazu.

Ich habe Thanalorian Scion bereits lange auf dem ersten Level in meiner Sammlung und habe sie häufig gespielt. Da ich jetzt auch noch einen Elf Archon besitze, habe ich mich dazu entschieden Thanalorian Scion auf das dritte Level zu verbessern, da dort ein weiterer Magic Attack Angriffspunkt dazu kommt.

Auch diese epische Karte ist nicht ganz billig, jedoch gab es glücklicherweise ein Exemplar für 7,10$ auf dem Markt, das bereits auf dem dritten Level war.

Sultry Barmaid

Bei der letzten Karte, die ich gekauft habe, handelt es sich um eine gewöhnliche Karte und zwar Sultry Barmaid. Sie gehört zum Water Splinter, ist ein Ranged Attacker und kostet fünf Mana. Die Stats sind für die Kosten nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht überragend. Die Ability Ambush, welche die Karte von Beginn an besitzt, ermöglicht einen Angriff, welcher mit einer Ability die später dazu kommt, sehr wichtig sein kann.

Denn durch die Upgrades kommt die Ability Stun (Level 3) dazu, welche recht gut ist und nicht so viele Karten haben. In Kombination mit der Ability Ambush können mit etwas Glück gegnerische Einheiten das ganze Battle nicht angreifen.

Und das hat mich auch davon überzeugt, dass ich die Karte auf dem dritten Level spielen möchte. Ein Upgrade auf das fünfte Level wäre nicht besonders sinnvoll, da hier nur ein Geschwindigkeitspunkt und ein Lebenspunkt dazu kommt und das wäre es mir nicht wert gewesen.

Hier habe ich sogar eine Gold Foil Variante gekauft, da ich für das dritte Level lediglich ein Exemplar benötige und das letztendlich für mich billiger war. Dieses Exemplar hat mich lediglich 1,15$ gekostet.

Letzte Worte

Wie immer heiße ich die vier neuen Karten herzlich Willkommen in meinem Team! Auch wenn ich bereits einige Karten aus der Rebellion Erweiterung besitze, gibt es immer noch starke Karten, die mir fehlen, die ich mir jetzt aber zugelegt habe. Wie bereits angesprochen kann es aber sein, dass ich damit die letzten Rebellion Karten gekauft habe. Aber wer weiß, vielleicht kann mich ja die ein oder andere fehlende Rebellion Karte noch überzeugen.
