Splinterlands - "Orella Abadon" in the spotlight
Hello Splinterlandians,
today I want to continue my blog series "In The Spotlight", where I explain you all the important stuff about one single card. I will talk about lore and artwork, the stats, the combinations and tactics and I'll show you a battle with the card as an example.
For today I want to talk about Orella Abadon, who was introduced with the Gladius cards. It is a rare card from the fire splinter, which main characteristics are her low mana costs and sneak attack. But let's jump into the details and don't waste time, have fun while reading and thanks in advance for every sort of support.
Lore and Artwork:
Stats:
Combinations and Tactics:
- I often play Orella Abadon with Tarsa, because she gets another melee attack point.
- Pairing Orella Abadon with other sneak attackers, like Uraeus or Tenyii Striker, is obviously a solid strategy.
- Try to defend her in your lineup, because otherwise Orella Abadon is a simple target to kill with her low health points and she won't use her Bloodlust ability.
- When you anticipate your opponent keeping his backline open with low health monsters, Orella Abadon performs great and makes use of her Bloodlust ability.
- Good rulesets for Orella Abadon are among others Equalizer, Little League and Unprotected.
Battle:
In my ranked battle the "Are You Not Entertained?" ruleset was active, so I was able to play one Gladius card. Because it was a low mana ruleset and the fire splinter was avaiblabe I chose to play Orella Abadon in combination with Tarsa and another sneak attacker Uraeus. To summarize the battle for you, Orella Abadon just destroyed the enemy lineup and in the end she has 6 melee attack, speed and health points, thanks to her Bloodlust ability.
Final Words:
Orella Abadon is a great card for her low mana costs. She is one of my most used Gladius cards for brawls and other battles, where I'm able to play Gladius cards. I recommend everyone to start collecting some Mertis through guild brawls, because the Gladius cards are souldbound, which is not to be changed in the future. Galdius cards, like Orella Abadon, perform great in many battles.
Her lore is nice to read. I like the fact she is kind of an outsider within the other Gladiators, because she is the oldest. But with her experience she is on the same level as the other Gladiators, her tattoos prove this to us.
What do you think about Orella Abadon? Thanks for reading and have some nice days!
