Facing Splinterlands packs addiction

I've spent quite a few dollars on Splinterlands Chaos Legion packs. Not that I'ma whale or anything, but seriously, this algorithm has some serious mind-reading skills. I didn't get any legendaries on the first 50 packs I've opened (got a gold foil Tarsa and an epic GF though). Once I was about to give up and just start buying cards on the market instead (to be honest at this point I had bought a couple already), those cheap Tribaldex prices had me spending 6 dollars more for a couple of packs. Well, I had to finish my potions before giving up, right??

To my surprise, after opening so many packs with no legendaries, the first one came in a gold foil. And what a card it was. A Chaos Dragon, among the best I could get. chaos.png

Now I'm back to buying packs and most of the time getting the worst cards possible, feels like I've already spent all of my luck. Well, I do still have some potions on my secondary account, and I believe that when my hopes start to fade away, serendipity might strike again.

How about you? Are you happy with the packs Y'all have opened??

I had a couple good packs when i first bought them but then not much that was worth the price of a pack. It is probably better to just buy cards directly BUT it is so much fun to open a pack!!!

Yes, It's definitely "Casino-level" addiction. I feel that between now and 11 million packs sold we will have these low prices on Tribaldex, close to 3 bucks each, which makes it even harder not to buy.

Thanks, @lovesniper, I've already thought about writing on other platforms. I'll take a look and get back to it. Hive is such an amazing network, but this meme thing is what got me convinced. I'll be posting more memes and might as well explore other blogs soon.
