This is about my winning match. Playing in 3 different ruleset (Briar Patch + Odd Ones Out + Holy Protection) in a brawl battle, I got a good result of winning against the enemy team.

I'll be joining a battle challenge hosted by @splinterlands with this post and I'm linking the challenge link so that other peoples may know about it.
Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

This time I got a battle with 20 mana and I went for it using Yodin Zaku as the fire summoner.

THIS IS THE BATTLE LINK.

Here you can see both team where I've found a opponent with 5 cards against my 2 cards.

Battle Ruleset:

The battle ruleset has 20 mana cap.
Briar Patch: All monsters have the thorns ability.
Odd Ones Out: Only monsters with odd mana costs may be used in battles.
Holy Protection: All monsters have the divine shield ability.

My chosen cards.
I chose fire splinter with 2 fire cards where I used Yodin Zaku as the summoner.

The Battle

For Going Briar Patch ruleset, all monsters will have the thorns ability that'll allow all monsters to damage back to the attacker if gets hit by a melee attacker. In this case, my team should get benefitted as I chose only one melee attacker so the enemy team will use the thorns ability on only one of my monsters and in other case, the team was filled with five melee attackers.

For the Odd Ones Out ruleset, we couldn't use monsters that costs even mana and there were only odd mana monsters that we could use. And for the Holy Protection ruleset, all monsters got divine shield ability that allows all monsters to ignore the first damage.

Kelya Frendul offered +1 speed and +1 armor to all enemy monsters. Yodin Zaku offered +1 ranged attack to the only ranged attacker, +1 blood and blast ability all friendly monsters and now all friendly monsters will do additional damage to monsters adjacent to the target monster using the blast ability.

Enemy teams Tide Biter started attacking first and attacked Grum Flameblade of friendly team but that first attack on this friendly monster was ignored because of the holy protection ruleset. And as Tide Biter is a melee attacker, Grum Flameblade used thorns and both of them lost their divine shield on them. Then Pelacor Bandit attacked Sarius and the same thing happened as the first attack.

Now Isgald Vorst attacked Sarius using opportunity ability that allows the monster to attack from any position and will target the enemy monster with the lowest health and Sarius had the lowest health in friendly team and the friendly monster lost three health with this attack and then it used thorns and destroyed divine shield of the enemy monster.

Sarius then attacked Cruel Sethropod where the enemy monster ignored it for divine shield but the adjacent enemy monster took damage and lost its armor for the friendly monster's blast ability. Then Cruel Sethropod attacked Grum Flameblade where the friendly monster lost two armor and the enemy monster lost two armor as well for thorns. Then Grum Flameblade attacked Cruel Sethropod where the enemy monster lost its remaining two armor and the adjacent monster lost two health as well for blast although Cruel Sethropod used thorns where Grum Flameblade lost one armor.

There was a new round where Tide Biter attacked Grum Flameblade where the friendly monster lost one armor only but the enemy monster died because of thorns and the friendly monster got +1 to all starts after this kill for having bloodlust ability. Then Pelacor Bandit attacked Sarius and the friendly monster died but before leaving, it used thorns where the enemy monster lost its armor. Then Isgald Vorst attacked Grum Flameblade with big melee but the friendly monster lost only a single armor and the enemy monster got twice the damage.

After Cruel Sethropod attacked Grum Flameblade, the friendly monster took its part in attacking where both Cruel Sethropod and its adjacent monster Tide Biter lost all health and before leaving, they used thorns on the friendly monster but that was not a problem for the friendly monster holding the big health and melee and besides the friendly monster got +2 to all its stats for two kills. Isgald Vorst reached the first position.

There was a new round where Isgald Vorst attacked Grum Flameblade and both of them lost their armors now for the enemy melee and for the friendly thorns. Then Grum Flameblade attacked Isgald Vorst where the enemy monster lost all health and the adjacent monster Hardy Stonefish got blast hit but ignored it because it was the first attack on this enemy monster. Isgald Vorst used thorns before leaving and Grum Flameblade got +1 to all stats after this kill for having bloodlust.

The last enemy monster Hardy Stonefish reached the first position and attacked Grum Flameblade where the friendly monster didn't lose much but the enemy monster lost all its armor because of thorns. Then there was this final round where Grum Flameblade attacked and killed the last enemy monster although the enemy monster used thorns before leaving but that was not a problem for the friendly monster and the friendly monster then got +1 stats too all its stats right before the battle was getting ended and it was not necessary though but rule is rule.

And the friendly team won the battle keeping only Grum Flameblade alive.

NEXT TIME.
