Akane - The most powerful and influential drakoshans from Rebellion.

Since I lost idea for what to talk about Rebellion after I left my one and only post about rebellion, I was waiting for the rebellion cards to come live so I may talk about certain rebellion cards when I can show them on the battlefield.

Now that the Rebellion cards are live and ready to take charge on the battlefield, I tried some dragon and neutral monsters on the battlefield using Akane who is right now the only dragon summoner in rebellion set and I'm going to talk about this summoner showing her taking charge on the battlefield.

Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Theme: Rebellion!

Akane is one of the most powerful and influential drakoshans who is a dragon summoner offer her summoned monsters with either lookout ability to one friendly monster or ambush ability to two friendly monsters. When both of those abilities are cool, I liked ambush the most because of its extra damage.

	Lookout: Adjacent Units receive 1 less damage from attackers with Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity. Additionally all units take half damage from ambushes as long as a Lookout unit is on your team.
	Ambush: This Unit gets to act before the battle begins. This means the monster having the ambush ability gets to do one extra attack on each battle and that happens before the battle begins.

This time I got a battle with 29 mana and I went for it using Akane as the dragon summoner.

Here you can see both team where I've found a enemy team with six monsters against my six monsters.

Battle Ruleset:

	The battle ruleset has 29 mana cap.
	Equal Opportunity: All monsters have the opportunity ability.

My chosen cards.
I chose dragon splinter with one dragon monster and three neutral monsters where I used Akane as the summoner.

Enemy's chosen cards.
The enemy also chose death splinter with five death monsters and one neutral monster using Thaddius Brood as the summoner.

I was thinking of doing this battle with only rebellion monsters but a I got free slots, I used the Furious Chicken as a bait there and the enemy team chose the lineup using only chaos legion cards probably from the starter set.

After choosing the cards, I was taken to the tactic stage where had the chance to choose which I ability my summoner should offer to the friendly monsters and there I chose the ambush ability and I chose it for Mantaroth & Pallus.

There was a limited time to do this and I had the option to skip this which would deactivate all abilities of my summoner but I didn't do that.

The Battle

The enemy summoner Thaddius Brood decreased one health each from all friendly monsters except from the chicken and then Disintegrator decreased one melee damage each from two friendly melee monsters.

Then the ambush took charge where Pallus killed the enemy Carrion Shade and Mantaroth damaged three health of the enemy Cursed Windeku using armored strike ability so that was a armor stat damage where the friendly monster lost one armor to the thorns damage and then lost one more armor to the thorns damage after damaging two more health of the same enemy monster with the melee damage.

The battle was dominated by "Opportunity" ruleset so the monsters with the lowest health would be the first targets and melee monsters may attack from any position now.

Friendly teams Pallus started attacking first and killed Life Sapper of the enemy team which was the second kill from this friendly monster at the very first round. And then Cursed Windeku damaged the last/remaining armor of Mantaroth and stopped the friendly monster doing any more armor stat damage.

TIPS: When you choose Mantaroth, make sure to choose a summoner and/or monsters who offers additional armor stat and who offers to repair the armor so the armor stat damage gets to live more.

Well, then Venari Bonesmith took the bait and killed Furious Chicken where the enemy monster got +1 health using life leech ability. Then both Mantaroth & Solace Ashinach damaged total three health of the enemy Cursed Windeku and both friendly monster lost one health each to thorns damage.

After Crypt Beetle & Disintegrator damaged total two health of the friendly Solace Ashinach, Pallus killed the enemy Cursed Windeku in a new round.

Then Solace Ashinach was killed by the enemy Crypt Beetle. Two more rounds were gone in the meantime without any kill as the enemy Venari Bonesmith kept increasing its health using life leech ability. Then at round five, that enemy monster died. Then after killing Crypt Beetle in next two rounds, Pallus then killed the last enemy monster Disintegrator and the friendly team won the battle keeping two monsters alive.
