Diving Into the Fray: A Melee Adventure in Splinterlands.

Today, dear readers, I invite you to join me on a journey through the heart of combat, where swords clash, fists fly, and the thrill of up-close confrontation reigns supreme. This isn't just any ordinary match—it's a dance of melee mastery, a symphony of blades, and an exploration of the "up close & personal" ruleset that has set the stage for my recent triumph.

This is about my winning match. Battling in up close & personal ruleset in a brawl battle, I got a good result of winning against the enemy team.

Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

This time I got a battle with 33 mana and I went for it using Scarred Llama Mage as the earth summoner.

Here you can see both team where I've found a enemy team with four monsters against my five monsters.

Battle Ruleset:

	The battle ruleset has 33 mana cap.
	Up Close and Personal: Only units with melee attacks can be used.

My chosen cards.
I chose earth splinter with four earth monsters and one neutral monster where I used Scarred Llama Mage as the summoner.

The enemy also chose earth splinter with four earth monsters and one neutral monster using Mylor Crowling as the earth summoner.

If you notice carefully then you'd see that all four of my monsters out of five can attack from their position where I left the last monster just as a pawn and the enemy team was staying behind me in that concept as only two enemy monsters were able to attack from their position at once.

And I didn't follow the ruleset while choosing summoner and monster but the enemy team chose their team following the ruleset. The first best thing the enemy team did was choosing Mylor Crowling as summoner which gives thorns ability too all monsters which is bad for melee opponents and then they chose Disintegrator which decrease the melee damage of all melee opponents by 1.

You can see two of my monsters has magic damage as well which comes with them wherever they go so they can do magic damage in a battle dominated by a ruleset where only melee monsters are allowed.

The Battle

Scarred Llama Mage offered +2 health and last stand ability to all friendly monsters and this summoner cleans all debuffs from the friendly monster in the first position each round. Then Mylor Crowling, the enemy summoner gave thorns ability to all my enemy monsters which allowed all enemy monsters to do 2 Melee damage back to the attacker (friendly monsters) when the friendly monsters attacks using melee damage.

Then Disintegrator decreased one melee damage from two friendly melee monsters as other melee monsters had only one melee damage each which can't me removed or decreased. And then Scarred Llama Mage cleansed the debuff from Quora Towershead as she promised and the friendly monster got back her lost melee damage.

Friendly teams Oaken Behemoth started attacking first where Mycelic Infantry of the enemy team lost only two health from the magic damage and the melee damage was evaded using the shield ability of the enemy monster and the enemy monster used thorns to damage the armor of the friendly monster.

Then the friendly Quora Towershead did a double attack as well (magic+melee) where she damaged two health by the magic and one armor by the melee damage and the same enemy monster lost these stats and did a thorns damage back where the friendly monster lost two health.

Using shield ability, the enemy Mycelic Infantry kept evading and increasing damages came towards it so it was also a good move of the enemy team. Venari Scout and Battering Ram tried to break the armor of the enemy monster using their single melee damage but those damages were evaded and in contrary they got two thorns damage each.

Katrelba Gobson of the enemy team then did a double melee damage using double strike ability and killed Fungus Fiend of the friendly team where the enemy team got +1 to all stats using bloodlast ability for this kill and then Mycelic Infantry damaged three health of Quora Towershead.

There was a new round where first Oaken Behemoth damaged some health of the enemy Mycelic Infantry and then Quora Towershead killed this problem making enemy monster and the frineldy monster got +1 to all stats using bloodlast ability and did a 3x melee damage on the next enemy monster Flesh Golem when it reached the first position and the friendly monster lost some health to thorns damage.

Battering Ram died from thorns damage of Katrelba Gobson and then Venari Scout died by the same enemy monster and Katrelba Gobson became more stronger after getting more to its stats using bloodlast ability and then it killed the friendly Oaken Behemoth as well in a new round leaving Quora Towershead as one man stand which gave her 50% to all stats for the last stand ability and she had heal ability as well to increase her health each round.

Now Quora Towershead had 5+5=10 damage and she needed a single turn to kill an enemy monster or she could kill two enemy monsters with one turn now. She killed the enemy Flesh Golem with a single turn and then killed both Disintegrator & Katrelba Gobson with a single turn using both damages and then killed the last enemy monster Hill Giant at the time when she had 8+8 damages.

And the friendly team won the battle keeping only Quora Towershead monsters alive.
