Mastering the Arena in Target Practice Ruleset.

Target Practice.png

In the enchanting world of Splinterlands, a special ruleset has emerged, transforming the battleground into a target practice arena. With snipe abilities empowering ranged and magic attackers, the rules dictate a strategic aim for the first enemy unit not in the lead position. And guess what? I had an exhilarating win using only ranged attackers in this challenge.

This is about my winning match. Battling in target practice ruleset in a brawl battle, I got a good result of winning against the enemy team.

I'll be joining a battle challenge hosted by @splinterlands with this post and I'm linking the challenge link so that other peoples may know about it.
Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

This time I got a battle with 52 mana and I went for it using Yodin Zaku as the fire summoner.

THIS IS THE BATTLE LINK.

Here you can see both team where I've found a enemy team with six monsters against my six monsters.

Battle Ruleset:

The battle ruleset has 52 mana cap.
Target Practice: All ranged and magic attack monsters have the snipe ability.
What Doesn't Kill You: All monsters have the enrage ability.
Super Sneak: All melee attack monsters have the sneak ability.

My chosen cards.
I chose fire splinter with five fire monsters and one neutral monster where I used Yodin Zaku as the summoner.

The battle was dominated with target practice where ranged and magic attackers gets priority so I chose only ranged attackers, what doesn't kill you where monsters gest 50% bonus melee attack and speed when not at full health and super sneak where monsters targets the last unit on the enemy team instead of the first unit.

As my summoner offers an extra ranged damage, I chose only ranged monsters according to the mana cap and they gets priority from the themed ruleset as well.

Enemy's chosen cards.
The enemy chose death splinter with three death and three neutral monsters using Octavia Shadowmeld as the death summoner.

The Battle

Yodin Zaku offered +1 health and blast ability to all friendly monsters with +1 ranged damage to all friendly ranged attackers. Then Octavia Shadowmeld, the enemy summoner removed the extra health from the friendly monsters but Lord of Fire added that extra health again using strengthen ability and then Arkemis the Bear increased two armor to all enemy monsters each.

Enemy teams Prismatic Energy started attacking first where Tinderlock of the friendly team lost one health and its enrage ability was activated already for not being at full health which increased its health. Then Whistling Demon attacked and damaged two more health of the same friendly monster and I noticed the Tinderlock was the enemy monsters first target for the snipe ability in target practice ruleset.

After Pelacor Deceiver damaged two health of Molten Ash Golem, then Cornealus attacked Prismatic Energy using snipe ability where the enemy monster lost all three armor and the adjacent enemy monsters (Pelacor Deceiver & Drybone Raider) lost two armor each for blast damage. Then Lava Launcher damaged four health of the same enemy monster when the same adjacent monsters got two ranged damage each.

You should've already noticed that Prismatic Energy was the primary target of the friendly team for the target practice ruleset but it became harder to crack that enemy monster down as the enemy monster kept evading damages for more than 3/4 times at once.

The rest of enemy attackers attacked the last friendly monster using sneak ability ignoring target practice ruleset where Drybone Raider did strike four times using double damage (melee+ranged) and double strike ability but the friendly monster ignored most big damages. And then at last Tinderlock killed the enemy Prismatic Energy and showed us a first kill and there the adjacent enemy monsters kept losing health with each damage went towards Prismatic Energy.

Cornealus took big damages next and lost good health but it had heal ability so it increased back some health in each round and there the friendly team got the second kill in the same round when Tinderlock damaged some health of the enemy Drybone Raider but Pelacor Deceiver died because of blast damage.

Then Ettin Spearman killed the last enemy ranged attacker who was Whistling Demon and then target practice ruleset was a goner and the friendly monsters started attacking on what's on the first position in enemy team and they killed last three enemy monsters one by one in a short period of time and the friendly team won the battle keeping all monsters alive.

NEXT TIME.

The next post about splinterlands will be coming soon.
Screenshots are my take from the game website. The thumbnail was made in Canva and I got a little help from chatgpt with the beginning paragraph.
