Mastering the Arena in What Doesn't Kill You Ruleset in a Brawl Battle.

what doesn't.png

Welcome to the arena, where strength emerges from the brink of defeat in 'What Doesn't Kill You' ruleset. In this unique ruleset, every monster bears the enrage ability, a power you'll get to know about when you lose some health. Yeah, monsters gets extra melee damage and speed when they are not at full health after losing some in this ruleset.

This is about my winning match. Battling in what doesn't kill you ruleset in a brawl battle, I got a good result of winning against the enemy team.

I'll be joining a battle challenge hosted by @splinterlands with this post and I'm linking the challenge link so that other peoples may know about it.
Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

This time I got a battle with 54 mana and I went for it using Scarred Llama Mage as the earth summoner.

THIS IS THE BATTLE LINK.

Here you can see both team where I've found a enemy team with six monsters against my six monsters.

Battle Ruleset:

The battle ruleset has 54 mana cap.
Broken Arrows: Ranged attack monsters may not be used in battles.
Armored Up: All monsters have 2 armor in addition to their normal armor stats.
What Doesn't Kill You: All monsters have the enrage ability.

My chosen cards.
I chose earth splinter with four earth monsters and two neutral monsters where I used Scarred Llama Mage as the summoner.

The battle was dominated with 1. what doesn't kill you, 2. armored up and 3. broken arrows rulesets where ranged monsters were not allowed to take the fight, all monsters were getting additional two armors each and the enrage ability was best to find melee monsters and I chose two monsters with melee damages as I didn't deserve to choose melee monsters for all the spots.

Enemy's chosen cards.
The enemy chose fire splinter with five fire monsters and one neutral monster using Eternan Brune as the fire summoner.

I'd like to praise the selection of the enemy summoner cause in a battle with armored up ruleset, choosing such a summoner is excellent as this summoner removes two armors of all opponent monsters which means all friendly monsters just lost the additional armors they got from the armored up ruleset.

But I think the enemy got too excited having the enrage ability and chose a melee monster with reach ability for the third place who actually shouldn't be able to do any damage till it reaches the second or first position.

The Battle

Scarred Llama Mage offered +2 health and last stand ability to all friendly monsters. And the friendly summoner will cleanse all debuffs of from the friendly monster in the first position. All monsters got +2 additional armor for the armored up ruleset but the enemy summoner Eternan Brune removed that additional armor from all friendly monsters.

image.png

Friendly teams Regal Peryton started attacking first where Grum Flameblade of the enemy team lost one armor instead of one health using its void armor ability. Then Djinn Inferni attacked Quora Towershead with three magic damage where the friendly monster lost six health as the enemy monster had giant killer ruleset that allows the monster to do double damage against targets that cost 10 or more mana and there the friendly monster got increased melee damage and speed for enrage ability and she's going to attack next.

After healing four health of thyself, Quora Towershead attacked Grum Flameblade with two damages (melee+magic) where the enemy monster lost total five armor. Then Prismatic Energy damaged the last armor of the same enemy monster. Then Oaken Behemoth damaged total four health with two damages of Grum Flameblade and the enemy monster got increased melee damage and speed for enrage.

image.png

It was now time for Sorriel the Bale to do a double attack using double strike ability where the friendly Quora Towershead lost total four health. Then after Magi of Chaos damaged one health of Grum Flameblade, the enemy monster then damaged six health of friendly Quora Towershead. The next attack was from the enemy Magi of Chaos but lucky for Quora Towershead that the enemy monster targeted the last friendly monster instead of the first one using sneak ability.

Goblin Psychic then increased the health of Quora Towershead by four using tank heal ability and the goblins then damaged two health of the enemy Grum Flameblade and the enemy Chimney Wallstop took a chance to kill the friendly Quora Towershead with the last damage of this round but that attack was missed somehow.

image.png

There was a new round where Quora Towershead killed the enemy Grum Flameblade and the next enemy monster Chimney Wallstop reached the first position and getting to the second position, Ferexian Hero was now able to attack. After killing the enemy monster with magic damage, the friendly Quora Towershead got +1 to all stats using bloodlast ability and now had five melee damage with one bloodlast stat and two enrage stats and damaged the five armor of the enemy Chimney Wallstop with the melee damage.

Then unfortunately Quora Towershead died in this round and other friendly monsters took their chance and started to fight off the enemy monsters and then the friendly Oaken Behemoth and the enemy Chimney Wallstop died as well. Goblin Psychic killed one enemy monster and this friendly monster also died and at last Prismatic Energy became the last stand monstera and got extra stats and killed the last enemy monsters and the friendly team won the battle keeping only Prismatic Energy alive.

NEXT TIME.

The next post about splinterlands will be coming soon.

Congratulations on your impressive win in this ruleset. Your detailed explanation of the battle is really amazing. It was interesting to see how the enemy summoner added a unique twist to the battle by removing the additional armor from all your monsters.

Good luck in the challenge, and I hope you continue to share your battle experiences. @tipu curate 10
