IMMORTALIS

¡Hola amigos! nuevamente por acá para contarles sobre otro proceso de ilustración que hice para otro concurso de @splinterlands, escogí una carta de la unidad de TIERRA llamado: "IMMORTALIS " quisé dibujar este personaje porque se me parecio a una comiquita que veia cuando era mas joven y que me gustaba mucho llamada Hora de Aventura se me parecio al Rey Helado un personaje que sale hay. Ademas Immortalis, uno de los magos de batalla más poderosos de la época, era el líder de uno de esos gremios. Su régimen de entrenamiento era brutal y exigente, y requería nada menos que la perfección absoluta de aquellos que aceptaba en sus filas. Los débiles pronto fueron eliminados, mientras que los fuertes florecieron y se hicieron aún más fuertes. Immortalis y su gremio demostraron ser casi imbatibles, todo Splinterlands les encantaba verlo en batalla ya que aplastaban sin piedad a sus oponentes.

Hello friends! here again to tell you about another illustration process that I did for another @splinterlands contest, I chose a letter from the EARTH unit called: "IMMORTALIS" I wanted to draw this character because it looked like a cartoon that I saw when I was younger and that I liked a lot called Adventure Time seemed to me like the Ice King, a character that comes out there. Also Immortalis, one of the most powerful battle mages of the time, was the leader of one of those guilds. His training regimen was brutal and demanding, and he required nothing less than absolute perfection from those he accepted into his ranks. The weak were soon wiped out, while the strong flourished and became even stronger. Immortalis and his guild proved to be nearly unbeatable, all of Splinterlands loved to see him in battle as they mercilessly crushed their opponents.

AND THE PROCESS BEGINS:

Amigos siempre comienzo el proceso, dibujando el boceto con unas líneas rústicas y muy básico siendo estas algo tosca, muy sencillas para tener una nocion de lo que haré siempre hago esto es mis dibujos.	Friends, I always start the process, drawing the sketch with some rustic and very basic lines, being these somewhat rough, very simple to have a notion of what I will do, I always do this in my drawings.

Como siempre empiezo por pintar la cabeza de mi dibujo usando los colores azul y el tono blanco para hacerlo, pinté la barba, bigote y pelo hice haciendo varios trazos para luego ir definiendo con el Pincel de Manchas que a su vez lo usaba para mezclar los colores, para la sombra usé el Pincel de Superponer y para las luces el Multiplicar estos para todo.	As always I start by painting the head of my drawing using the blue colors and the white tone to do it, I painted the beard, mustache and hair I made several strokes and then go defining with the Smudge Brush that in turn used it to mix the colors, for the shadow I used the Overlay Brush and for the highlights the Multiply these for everything.

Aqui pinté la toga con el mismo color azul pero saturandolo un poco mas y con la mano hice lo mismo que con la cara aplicando la misma tecnica y pinceles para las sombras y luces, para el baston solo pinté un linea con una curva con un color marrón luego borré para definirlo volviendo hacer lo que acabo de mencionar. Siempre tuvé presente que en la mano iba hacer el rayo por eso hice las luces y sombras donde las ven.

Here I painted the robe with the same blue color but saturating it a little more and with my hand I did the same as with the face applying the same technique and brushes for the shadows and lights, for the cane I only painted a line with a curve with one color brown then I deleted to define it going back to do what I just mentioned. I always kept in mind that I was going to make lightning in my hand, that's why I made the lights and shadows where you can see them.

Para terminar pinté el rayo de la mano y ojos hices unas lineas blancas luego dupliqué la capa para arrastrarla y hacer los rayos mas pequeños estos los hice con el Pincel de Manchas para luego aplicarle un Desenfoque Gaussiano y hacerlos brillar con un Tono Turquesa, despues hicé para el fondo quisé pintar humo y en una capa por debajo de todo con un tono mas oscuro de Gris le di mas profundidad. Bueno quise hacerlo que se pareciera al Rey helado pero tambien tomando como refencia la carta de Splinterlands.

To finish I painted the ray of the hand and eyes, you made some white lines, then I duplicated the layer to drag it and make the rays smaller, I did these with the Smudge Brush and then I applied a Gaussian Blur and made them shine with a Turquoise Tone, then I did For the background I wanted to paint smoke and in a layer below everything with a darker shade of Gray I gave it more depth. Well I wanted to make it look like the Ice King but also taking the Splinterlands card as a reference.
