Battles Of The Day: Grandmaster Rathe

Since a few weeks ago I have had in my card collection 3 individual LVL 1 cards from Grandmaster Rathe, 2 of them I got by buying Packs and one of them I got by airdrop, however, since I have them I had not used them, let alone combine them to raise it to LVL 2, but today, because it's no surprise that since the changes that Splinterlands has had these last months (one of the many changes that this game has had), ranking has become a little more difficult, so I thought it's necessary to improve my card collection and I wanted to start with this legendary summoner, which is quite good. Winning games using this summoner was a bit difficult as I'm not quite used to using it yet, but when combined with the right cards, it's quite lethal.

In this first battle, having very little mana to use, only 15 points, I had to manage with the utmost care the cards I was going to use, I had to take advantage of those 15 points of mana and distribute them in as many cards as possible, clearly all the cards I used were of low mana cost, so I could occupy all the spaces on the battlefield. In first position I placed: Pelacor Conjurer, which acts as a defensive card, while the following cards attack. Following in the formation and in the second position, place: Soul Fiend, which due to the position it is in cannot make any kind of attack until Pelacor Conjurer is eliminated, however, to counteract that, place two cards with the "Sneak" ability. In third position and having an ability that slows down the speed of my opponents' cards, I placed one of the most classic Splinterlands cards: The Ooze. In the next two positions, there are the two cards that I previously mentioned that have the "Sneak" ability and those cards are: Feral Spirit and Uraeus. And at the end of the formation, but not less important, another card of every game: Furious Chicken.

BATTLE 1

In this second battle, having a greater amount of mana points to use, in total about 56 points, the strategy I used changed completely, being able to place in formation, cards with higher attack or skills. In first position I placed a card, which at first I did not like to use, the one that has the controversial ability "Recharge", however, it is a very useful, lethal and effective card when necessary, that card is: Uriel The Purifier. In second position, to counter the charge that Uriel The Purifier must do, while preparing his attack place: Luminous Eagle, a card from the LIFE deck that I like a lot. In third position, I thought of placing: Hero Of Beyond, it really is a good card, with good life points, although an attack and speed not so high, but still a very good card. In the 3rd position, I wanted to use a card that had the ability "Tank Heal", so it would be more difficult to eliminate my Uriel The Purifier, so I placed in that position to: Venari Crystalsmith. In fourth position is another card from the Life deck that I like a lot: Silvershield Sheriff, this card is excellent, both in attack points, life and speed points, it is an excellent ranged attack card. And in last position I placed a card a bit randomly, since I did not think to place it until the last moment and I thought that his ability "Blast" was going to be very useful, and it was something useful, but not so much, that card is: Prismologist.
