Battles Of The Day: Uriel the Purifier

This season is being really quite difficult, at a competitive level Splinterlands is practically a different game than it was just a month ago, before it was hard for me to reach Diamond 3, which was my limit with respect to my collection, but now with less than two days to the end of the season, I am still at gold 2, although I am very close to gold 1, I think that as long as I don't improve my deck I will stay at gold. I need to improve my deck a lot more to get further. But anyway, after last week's post using the legendary summoner: Grandmaster Rathe, I really liked the combination between this summoner and the card: Uriel The Purifier, so this time I decided to use again the legendary summoner, but also to use Uriel in every battle, since they are a duo that complement each other well, also using another card that I will mention later that also complements quite well with this card combo.

In this first battle, since the Melee Mayhem rule was active, I chose to use only cards with Melee attack to make the most of this rule, but they had to be cards with a fairly high physical attack, so as to cause as much damage as possible in the shortest time. In addition, they had to be cards that had good life points, which are high so that enemy damage is the minimum. And this was the formation: In first position and as I mentioned at the beginning, I placed what is now one of my favorite cards: Uriel The Purifier, a very powerful card but with a quite controversial ability. In second position, to avoid as much damage as possible to Uriel The Purifier and that most of the damage went to that card, I placed Shieldbearer, a card with the ability "Taunt", which will receive all the enemy damage (or most of the damage), while this card is active. In the next position, I placed a card with a brutal attack, Sand Worm, an excellent card, although with few life points. In fourth position I placed a card which has the ability "Giant Killer"; which in this particular battle was quite useful, that card is: Legionnaire Alvar. In fifth position and to intensify the Melee attack of my cards, thanks to the ability "Inspire", I placed: Silvershield Knight. And in last position, but not less important, because I can say quite easily that it was the MVP card of this battle, is: Armosmith, a card which thanks to its ability "Repair", gave me the victory in this battle.

BATTLE 1

In this second battle only two cards are repeated compared to the previous battle (not counting the summoner), and in this battle is where I use a combination of cards that I think is pretty good, starting with the summoner Grandmaster Rathe, followed by Uriel The Purifier and Adelade Brightwing. Anyway, the formation of this battle was as follows: In first position, again this: Uriel The Purifier, I have little to say about this card, it's pretty good. In second position is my classic card: Spirit Miner, a card that I have been thinking of selling, although I think it is quite difficult to do so. In third position, is the 3rd card of the combo: Adelade Brightwing, an excellent magic card with very useful abilities. In fourth position, repeats again in the formation: Sand Worm. In penultimate position and being of support in the healing to Uriel The Purifier, I placed Divine Healer and in last position and only occupying that space in the formation that was left I placed: Soul Fiend.
