Weekly Challenge: CRUEL SETHROPOD

avatar

Another week and another Splinterlands challenge, this time the challenge is to use the Cruel Sethropod card, a card which despite what many may think, is quite useful, a card that serves as a tank and to be used in first position and also, when the correct rule is active (for example: "Equalizer"), it becomes a total resistance tank. So, these are the battles I managed to win using this useful card:

In this first battle, Cruel Sethropod was of great help since by taking the most damage and being the first card eliminated, thanks to its resistance it helped the following cards in my formation to cause even more damage to my opponent's cards and thus be eliminated little by little. In first position and as dictated by the challenge of this week I placed Cruel Sethropod, which thanks to the rule "Equalizer" could get 11 points of life, becoming a tank of life and resistance. In the following positions are: Flying Squid, contributing to the damage from the second position, Deeplurker damaging the enemies that are with less life points and in the next 3 positions I abused a little with the legendary cards LOL, since I placed: Djinn Oshannus, a highly powerful magic attack card, with a lot of life and speed points. He is followed in the formation by Poseidon, another very powerful ranged card and the second Golden Legendary I got and in last but not least position is the ever faithful Spirit Miner, helping my cards to have more speed. In this battle although Cruel Sethropod could eliminate the first card of my opponent, due to the ability of the enemy River Hellondale, he could revive that first card, with which Cruel Sethropod was defeated in the next turn, however, he could resist enough so that my other cards in formation could cause enough damage to be easily eliminated, thus giving me the victory in this battle.

BATTLE 1

In this second battle I repeated again in the formation and retaking their potions Cruel Sethropod and Flying Squid, however in the following positions I changed all the cards since this time I could not use any Legendary or Epic cards due to the battle rule. However, I was still able to win. In third position is a card that I like a lot and is very useful Pelacor Bandit, which will contribute to cause damage to the enemy to their cards that are in last position. Continuing with this formation, we have: Venari Wavesmith, another very useful card from the Water deck, thanks to its ability "Protect" is going to give more physical defense to my cards. In penultimate position and to cause some magic damage is: Ice Pixie, a simple but effective card. And in last position and which I placed to fill that empty space in the formation is the classic Furious Chicken. Unfortunately, again in this battle Cruel Sethropod was eliminated quickly, but resisted enough so that the other cards in my formation could cause enough damage to give me the victory and thus, to complete the weekly challenge.

Dear @freddbrito, we need your help!

The Hivebuzz proposal already got an important support from the community. However, it lost its funding few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.

May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency, Hive.blog or using HiveSigner.

Your support would be really helpful and you could make the difference! Thank you!
