Weekly Challenge: DIEMONSHARK

DiemonsharkPORTADA.png

Diemonshark is a very useful card of the WATER deck, it is a very complete Melee card, it has a good amount of life points, with 8 points. It also has 6 points in shield, so defensively it is quite efficient, but also offensively it also fulfills its purpose, since it has an attack level of 3 points and an excellent amount of speed of about 4 points. Currently I don't use this card as much as I did before, but whenever I use it I get good results in most of the battles, that's why these are the Splinterlands challenge battles of the week with Diemonshark:

In the first position I placed the main card of the challenge of the week, occupying the place of tank card which will be in charge of receiving the most attacks of the battle. In this battle, unlike the second battle that I will show later, I have a good amount of mana points available (34 points), so my chances in the strategy are wider. That is why in second position I placed one of my favorite cards of the WATER deck: Djinn Oshannus, an excellent magic attack card, a very powerful legendary card. In second position another of my favorite cards of the WATER deck, but especially because this was my second Golden Legendary card, so it is a very special card for my collection and that card is: Poseidon, a very effective offensive ranged attack card which has the ability "Blast", which can be very annoying for the opponent. In fourth position, since Diemonshark was going to receive a lot of enemy damage, I thought of placing a card that could heal him and that is why I placed in this position: Merdaali Guardian, a card with the ability "Tank Heal" very useful. In penultimate and last position, since I didn't have many mana points left to use, I only placed the cards: Ice Pixie and Torrent Fiend respectively.

BATTLE 1

As I mentioned before, in this second battle unlike the first one, I had very few mana points to use, so it was a decision which cards to choose besides Diemonshark, since a bad decision could mean my defeat, therefore, since I had very few mana points to use after deducting the cost of the summoner (4 points) and the cost of Diemonshark (8 points) the following cards should cost very few mana points, so this was my strategy: Logically in first position again I placed Diemonshark, which was the card that received almost all the damage in this battle, thanks to this card and a bit of luck I was able to win. In the following positions I placed 1 of the two 0 mana cost cards, being the first card: Torrent Fiend, which was going to serve me in case Diemonshark was eliminated in battle, since the next two cards are of the ranged attack type, being those cards: Igor Darkspear and Xenith Archer respectively. And in last position the second card of 0 mana cost is the classic of classics: Furious Chicken.
