Weekly Challenge: GARGOYA SCRAPPER

avatar

Last week I completely forgot about the Splinterlands weekly challenge, I remembered yesterday and since last week I have been catching up with a lot of series and movies that have been there in my waiting list and I still have a lot of series and movies to watch, but this time I remembered in time the challenge and these are the battles. Since the new update on getting rewards it has become a bit difficult to get victories, Splinterlands has become much more competitive and that's a really good thing, as they encourage people to play much more and stay much more active, I just hope the rewards are better, as the effort to get the chests went up quite a bit.

This first battle I thought I was going to lose, because although at the beginning my team was leading the battle and eliminating most of my opponent's cards quickly, in the last turns, the situation turned in favor of my opponent, luckily, I could win obtaining the necessary victory to make this challenge. In first position I placed one of the most classic cards of the LIFE deck: Silvershield Paladin, which is an excellent defensive card, in next position and attacking from the second position is: Luminous Eagle, being this a card that I use a lot when I choose the LIFE deck. The next card in the list is: Celestial Harpy, which is a card that at first I did not use, but I have seen that it is a very useful card, especially when the amount of mana is low. The next card in the formation is Gargoya Scrapper, as this week's challenge dictates, this card really did not do much in this battle, it only attacked in one opportunity and could not eliminate my opponent's card. Continuing with the formation and being the card that helped me the most in this battle not to lose thanks to its ability "Tank Heal", is: Venari Crystalsmith and in last position and being another of the most classic cards of the LIFE deck, is: Feral Spirit.

BATTLE 1

In this second battle they repeated almost all the cards that were in the first battle: Silvershield Paladin, Luminous Eagle, Celestial Harpy and Gargoya Scrapper, repeating even their same formations. However, in the last two positions are two cards that were not in the first battle: Armorsmith, which thanks to its excellent "Repair" ability, was a great help for Silvershield Paladin to resist during the whole battle. And in last position is another classic Splinterlands card: Furious Chicken. This was the easiest battle of the day, I won quite easily, as my opponent could only eliminate one of my cards, which was Furious Chicken, while Silvershield Paladin, Luminous Eagle and Celestial Harpy did all the work eliminating my opponent's cards and Armorsmith restoring Silvershield Paladin's shield, which thanks to that couldn't be eliminated in this battle, while Gargoya Scrapper didn't really do anything in this battle, but what matters is winning and this was a necessary victory for this week's challenge.
