the Fire Spitter is small in size and cute in looks but the damage can cause is huge
so do not be tricked by its size,if you read Splinterlore you will find out its origins comes from a faraway place called Pocket Dimension which explains somehow the small size of this dragon....but the damage?
well its damage is critical, count on it

Fire Spitter is an Epic range attack monster and you could get it as a reward card
i say 'you could' cause this card is no more available through the reward system and the only way to get him is through the market
its price is not so high for an epic monster, it is about 0.37$ at the moment
i believe its price is gonna go up cause it is a monster we see often in battles which means its utility is high enough to explain a rise in market-price

for me Fire Spitter is a monster i use often , especially when i get the earthquake rule in battles
Fire Spitter as a flying dragon has the flying ability from lvl 1
this ability always in conjunction with its 2 attack points and its high speed makes him very useful
especially if you get the rule that obliges you to use up to 4 mana cap monsters, you will understand the true value of this card

the above battle was a 25 mana cap battle which had it all
i enjoyed it very much cause i took some risks and i was anxious to see if i'm going to succeed or fail
the rule which set the battlefield was the 'earthquake' rule
all non-flying monsters take 2 damage at the end of each round so you have to fly otherwise you suffer great damages
when i get this rule the first splinter hits my mind is the Dragon Splinter
the dragons ,most of them, fly by nature so you have many options in choosing your team
but there is a catch ! most of the dragons consume much mana so when you get a small or medium mana cap battle the Dragon Splinter gets expensive to be used
this was the case in this specific battle as well
25 mana points does not give you the freedom you need in order to pick your favorite dragons to fight
if i waned to go with the Dragons i had to pick my team very very careful
here is how i proceed

as a summoner i thought it was wise to get Selenia Sky
she only acquired 3 mana points to be used so i was going to be left with another 22 points to build my team

her special skill to provide an extra attack point to all ranged attack monsters was going to be of great help as i intented to use my ranged dragons as my main attack force

as you can see in the picture my Selenia is an alpha Edition
i'm really proud i own her , she's treasure to me!

i had 22 mana points to use and i wanted to use only dragons with flying ability in order to avoid losing life points from earthquake in each round
as a tank i picked my Chromatic Dragon, a legendary powerful dragon but expensive in mana as well, 7 more mana points were lost to use him so i 've been left with 15 more
in this point i decided to get my Furious chicken one more time and place it in the very first position in the battlefield in order to sacrifice it
you know sometimes the first hit in the game is the one which can determine who the winner will be and by this move my Chicken would absorb my rival's first hit leaving my tank unharmed

in the third place i picked Manticore, after the Chicken would be dead, Manticore would take some action with its reach ability by moving in the second place of the terrain..but it consumed another 4 mana so i was left almost with nothing...just 11 points to distribute

i decided that i had to use my Lightning Dragon no matter what cause it has a massive range attack of 3 points plus 1 bonus point from Selenia makes us 4 points...this move was a must but what card should i pick with only 4 mana points left after the Lightning dragon ?
you guess correct, it was time for the Fire Spitter
only 4 mana points to be used plus a descent attack of 2 points was the perfect choice

Fire Spitter was placed in the fourth place in order to be protected if my opponent had a sneaky assassin and in the last place i placed my Lightning dragon
everything was ready but i was really anxious to see if the plan is going to work
i knew i was risking with the two range attack monsters but their attack force of 7 hit points in total i believed would make the difference....i was not wrong this time!

the battle was victorious as planned
i lost my Chromatic Dragon but further than that i had no casualties
Fire Spitter and Chromatic dragon won the fight, if it was not for them i don't think i could win
15 DEC added to my balance and i rushed to deal with my next rival!
