Hello everyone on splinter talk, I go by the name of futballjosh on this platform and the reason for creating this post is my entry into the splinter land social media challenge which all about writing experience about splinter land and then sharing it on social media like facebook, twitter and so on.
In this post I am going to be explaining things a new comer or someone that wants to play splinter lands for the first time should know before playing.
I am going to be explaining this base on my own experience, when I started playing splinter lands just as everyone else started, you are supposed to by your first pack which is $10 that contains your keys too then after that you can now play just like everyone else but you will notice that playable cards alone you won't be able to progress to silver or gold and your winning streak will be very low then the next thing that will be in your mind is renting cards or buying.
I rented mine because I couldn't afford those cards, in total I have only spent $20 in splinter lands but I have not made it back because I realize that in splinter lands before you can start making money you need to spend a lot of money and I noticed this the hard way because even with my rented cards which expires when their time for returning reaches, even with the rented cards I couldn't win my way to silver.
In the beginning I was winning which you can see in the image below
But I realized that I couldn't just proceed with $20 worth of cards because I started to loose frequently just as you can see in the image below
All i am trying to say is you can't go far in splinter with just $10 or $20 because till today i have not been able to make back my $20 so just know that in splinter lands you will spend more money.
